I know and it's quite annoying, most people who say that shouldn't even have been born because they are far from knowing Czerny's repertoire and I'm here to change that !! all who see my message subscribe to my channel where there is unknown music by Czerny among other Composers, as well as my Compositions. Finally I would like to say that Chopin has no way of competing with the most difficult works of Czerny
Impressive! Czerny was a VERY good composer. Liszt said, that Czerny could have been one of THE greatest, if he had given more time to his own artistic development and less to Etudes. Often it becomes quite clear, that he was a great inspiration for Chopin.
There's a lovely set of variations here which are not too difficult - La Ricordansa: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-bksaX_zLcQA.htmlm58s - Horowitz was fond of them.
@@rosiefay7283 correct! but at the same we can be appreciative of others who decide to teach others with more potential than their own. It shows a humility and God likes that .
A work of majesty and honor. Libetta definately has played the best version I've heard. Everyone always either plays it way too slow or just messes up constantly. Well done!
Felicidades.
@@lunchmind Chopin said that the first time he met Czerny! but time later Chopin learned to compose the Nocturne form when he stayed in Paris at Czerny's house! Chopin was delighted with the Nocturne 4 of Op.368
L' op. 740 è la raccolta di Studi più difficile di tutti i numeri di opera di Czerny. Come per la tecnica pianistica dopo gli otto volumi di Rossomandi si passa al Tausig. Fantastico brano ed eccezionale Libetta! 🎶🎶🔝
Oh my gosh! Is very hard to perform some dinamics. It's really hard to pratice with a high perfection, but is the best interpretation I heard about it.
Grandissimo Francesco e grandissimo Czerny. Ti sei mai dedicato a Clementi? Michelangeli aveva in animo un concorso pianistico a lui dedicato. Ti sei la persona che può' e dovrebbe raccoglierne il testimone. Pensaci
It is indeed! Jack Gibbons once had the courage to play Alkan’s 121 page Concerto for Solo Piano as an encore; Pollini Stockhausen’s Klavierstücke; and Hamelin Szimanovski’s 2nd Sonata. All quite impressive indeed.
Wim Winters has posted at least 100 hours of video saying that it is impossible to play Czerny in tempo, but he has not spent five minutes checking on RU-vid if someone has actually done it.
How do these etudes compare to Czerny's "most difficult" set of Opus 365 (School of Virtuosity)? I have listened to the midis of that one...and they sound a lot more like exercises than these 740 etudes. This etude is lovely, but do you think the Op. 365 etudes can be played musically? They possess such a great deal of virtuosity, I wish they could make for great performance pieces.
This is definitely one of the most exciting ones from Op 740, "The Art of Finger Dexterity". If only Czerny had given equal challenge to the LH that he gave to the RH, in this and many of his studies.
Czerny has the left hand school Op.399 the most difficult etudes written for the left hand, and Op.400 which combines fugue and etude, surpassing Liszt and Alkan etudes
I like how this is just randomly recommended to me...I don’t usually listen to classical but I personally enjoy it once I listen to it, at least a minute
Fabio Mino don’t worry there’s a radio station in here that is dedicated to classical music, but you’re right I’m kinda missing out on a lot of great selections 😅
