As I puff on this joint I just wanna take this time to thank Dam-Funk, Mndsgn, Flying Lotus, and others for continuing to make quality music that we can get high too..TRAP is for drunkards and drug users LOL
This is good stuff and if you can't recognize this then you just don't like it. I would like to think most funk aficionados understand what this music is all about. This is not inside rock tradition, it aims for the soul.
@MacungieSun Sophisticated gangsta is an oxymoron... like religious athiest or compassionate sadist. I don't know Dam-Funk personally, but I have to believe that when he's not entertaining a dimwitted crowd of narcotic junkies and drugdealers, he behaves like a normal human being like anyone else.
