That is preposterously solid, start to finish. This might be the closest to a 'perfect album' I've seen a full-length come to in ages, it may even challenge another long-time personal favorite in that measure. And I don't say that lightly!
The album is fantastic! Love all the arrangements, and orchestration. The recording, mixing, and mastering are superb: you can listen everything in the right place. The musical aesthetic is brutal, and at the same time is melodic, and very technical. There are a lot of guitar players as guests which brings more energy, and their own contribution to the album yet this could be an issue on live sets. I guess Eyal or Rafael are going to play those solos live or perhaps they're going to call some of the guest guitar players who is available to play for some live dates? Metal Blade Records you did a great job by signing Dååth and releasing their new album!
Thanks for the kind words and please have no worries about how we’ll pull it off live. We’ve got this under control. It’s just more practicing on our end.
@@eyalleviurm You're welcome Eyal! Thanks for sharing your superb music with all of us. You're absolutely right, it requires more practice for you, and Rafael. I'm sure you will do it great since both (you, and Rafael) are accomplished guitar players.
Man in today's world where everyone makes short cuts, lazy music, bad movies ECT. Finally some hard work and craftsmanship in music surfaces. I been waiting for years for new material from DAATH and I had a blast listening to every unexpected note played every vocal growled. Laying in bed, fan blowing on me ear buds at the max. The ending clean riff in "no rest no end" gave me a familiar comfort in knowing i was in for yet another masterpiece from DAATH. Thank God! it's about time!
Dudes come back outta no where after all these years and drop AotY AND their best work yet. Long time fan and I honestly just want to thank everyone for creating such a beast of an album. Literally had it on repeat since it dropped and I will continue to do so. Cheers 🤘
Been listening since I found hinderers over a decade ago looking through the Gem pile and came across Dååth, Iced earth and a few other hidden gems, Glad Dååth is getting the recognition it deserves. There is one question however, What ever happened to the song Sirens from the hinderers album, RU-vid keeps removing it.
Thank you for listening and for your support through the years. Also, there’s no song called “Sirens” on The Hinderers. We’ve never had a song by that name
Perfectly, solid and consistentely work done by this band.A couple of spellbinding melodies going with ferocity and wildness riffs trekking into a breathtaking epic landscape where a kind of dark energy is captured. This band had not fear to put its skills out to create a spellbindingly groundbreaking piece of music. As we can take it and put at the top of worldwide metal, where it must remain like a biggest conquer.
Holy fuckskies!! After hearing the first 10 seconds of this, I ran out and bought the CD. I have never heard such a perfect blend of prog death heavily influenced by classical changes, runs and structures without being the least bit derivative. In my top 10 for 2024!
YES!!... I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR A NEW "DAATH" ALBUM FOR QUITE A WHILE. I'M ONLY A FEW SONGS IN SO FAR ,BUT TO ME THIS SOUNDS LIKE THE BANDS BEST WORK TO DATE. I WASN'T EVEN AWARE THAT THIS WAS OUT. SO I'M VERY, VERY PLEASED TO BE LISTENING TO THIS AWESOME PIECE OF ART (MUSIC). I WAS HOPING THESE GUYS WERE STILL MAKING MUSIC TOGETHER, UNLIKE SO MANY (HERE TODAY, GONE TOMORROW) BANDS NOWADAYS. KEEP IT UP GUYS! THIS SHIT FREAKIN' CRUSHES !!!!!!..... 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Man what a great album. Into Forgotten Dirt is my standout favorite so far - that final run towards the end into the solo, then the part at 42:50 is just sublime. That timestamp is so purely Devin Townsend-esque that if you told me it was his idea I'd believe it.
ive seen you guys live 4 or 5 times. you always do good work. and seeing dan n dean's names there, im not at all surprised with the album. definitely a highly underrated band.
I'm glad this album and this band were my introduction to death metal because every single song is _solid._ Purified by Vengeance is still head and shoulders above the rest for me though and has been on repeat for several days now 😂
Great album!! Hard pressed to think of another band in extreme metal that has had a comeback as good as this. I hope this isn't one and done and we get to see another album in the future.
I thought it was a solid LP but I admit I was a bit distracted while listening as my head was in a very dark place. I work as a coach at a k-6 school in California and this afternoon a kindergartner bragged to me today that his great grandfather was Hitler. I asked him who told him that and he said it was his dad.
@@eyalleviurm Yes, he's exceptional. The production recordings he did for Decapitated, Redemptor and his own first two albums don't even have sample editing. 100% natural. Insanity!!
I’m sure that’s true. On this it’s the minimum amount needed to make sure he doesn’t get swallowed by the orchestra and 100 guitar layers . For all intents and purposes it’s as natural as it’s gonna get for a mix like this
Much appreciated new music that INSTANTLY had me hooked. That beautiful, dark, eerie mood , driving, pounding balls out thrashing....I'm spoiled by expecting the band's I like having whole, complete albums you can listen to from start to finish...DAATH has always been just that 🖤🤘
