Ah, that's unfortunate! Might play Inferno next year, but it's hard to say. Usually, festivals want year-round exclusivity for gigs. So, since we are playing Beyond the Gates this year, we had to say no to some others in Norway for 2024. And the States is definitely something we want, the promoters have to reach out. Fingers crossed!

Haha, yeah. Here's the short version. Merch is often handled by labels. But this can be impractical at times. When gigs are confirmed, there are sometimes not enough time to print merch, and to bring it to the country we're going to can sometimes increase flight costs by a significant margin. So this particular batch of Black Medium Current merch was made to be sold at a festival in Canada, Montreal last year, and was therefore printed in Montreal. Vicotnik payed for it, so he's the one who has the inventory - that means it'll only be available on gigs, and sometimes only where it's practical to bring. Unfortunately. But, this will probably be the new shirt to get at gigs from now on. Along with older designs too. This is Costin Chioreanu's design, and it says "Det Tomme Kalde Morke" (which is a spelling error, since Canada doesn't have the letter Ø, for "Mørke"). Hope that answers it! :)

@@JonasEide - It does, thanks! I saw you guys play at Dark Mofo, but wasn't sold on any of the merch offerings... The BMC shirt in particular was rather questionable! This one however, caught my eye. Shame about the spelling error! Haha.

@@MelbzMTBros I see! Bringing Merch to Tasmania was a bit tricky unfortunately, so we went with a slimmer selection than what we would have wanted to. Really cool to hear that you were there! What a fantastic place to play. I met only nice people over there. :)

@@JonasEide - I can imagine! Everything is tricky when it comes to such an isolated part of the Earth! I went over on the boat from Victoria and drove down to Hobart. That was difficult enough, I can't even imagine flying 40 hours, lugging boxes/bags of merch along with everything else! As a 'mainlander', Tasmanians (or Taswegians as I like to call them) are a little weird... but that being said, I've never had a negative encounter! Haha. Fantastic show, though! ✊

@@MelbzMTBros They felt oddly similar to some of the more rural parts of Scandinavia, haha. Norway has its fair share of remote places, so I understood their vibe. :D Cheers!!

@@AlexandrosDourtmes It's one of the few greek sentences I know, so I call Geegor that all the time. Would love to go to Scotland again, I visited Edinburgh around 10 years ago, so it's definitely time for another trip. Most likely that will be 2025 tho, this year is already quite packed.
