This lori music from Iran and this song is originally from 70 years ago, and if u hear she sings "Dâya Dâya vaqt e jang a" means "mother mother its time of war",, a patriotic song 4 one of the bravest stocks in IRan (Luri/Lori people). Loris or luris are cousins to kurds, persians, balochis and talyshi/gilaki people of northern Iran and many other iranic people even outside Iran such as afghans and some people of Pakistan and Central Asia.

would someone like to explain to me how we went from a beautiful song like this to Karim Khan Zand. I myself is bakhtiari from Izeh and I love this song. I just don't get how a song for a mom has anything to do with Karim Khan Zand.

@KurdLurKarimKhanZand lors are not Kurd, im lor and i did a genetic test me and few of my Kurdish friends and both showed different results, beside sharing few words doesn't make them same, Kurd have a lot of Arabic words that doesn't make them Arabs , but most nations of turkey and Iran and kurds have the same ancestry .
The great geographer Yaqut al-Hamawi visited the Lurs for 800 years ago and lived with them for a pretty good time in their area when their language were very pure and he said Lurs are kurds and he wrote that in his famous book "Mu'jam Al-Buldan" and assured that Lurs are kurds, he said that for 800 years ago and he wrote that book without needing to use any references about the Lurs because he personally was the best reference, because he met them and talked to them and lived with them as he did in other kurdish areas before, , he knew very well who was kurd and who was not, and his book is a very valuable reference now.
I'm an Iranian-American and I am sad over the treatment of Kurds by the Islamic Republic of Iran, under Saddam (remember Halabja), Turkey and Syria. The moral of the story however is not to condemn any of these nationalities, nor is it to point out that they are "constructed" (all nations were constructed in the 19th and 20th century); the moral of the story is to sound the alarm and critique state power...especially when it tries to crush self-determination of people, of any people.

Specifically Lorestani women. My great grandmother was from Borujerd, Lorestan. She had tattoos on her face, specifically the mouth area, the tattoos were dot like and blue green colored. I haven't been able to find much about anyone knowing tattoos among the Lors. Does anyone have knowledge about this and why the women would get tattoos on their faces?
do you know where your language comes from? I know you can not believe it, you are speaking the Albanian language, somewhere 40% I understood this folk song that I am Albanian
@KurdLorstani So you mean that he refused to use "Shah" which is of iranic origin of king, instead using "Khan" which is a turko-mongolian word for "Chief/leader"? No it was not like that, cause a lot of ancient iranian/persian rulers after the muslims and mongols used title of "Khan" for showing greatness and leadership. You say that Karim Khan chosed Shiraz as his capital, while SHiraz is center and heart of Persia. Present day Fars province in southern Iran. Of course! he was persian(lor)!

Bro some lurs consider themselves persian and some consider themselves kurdish. Can't force them to be kurdish if they don't want to. Same as Persians force us to be iranian. NOT GONA HAPPEN LOL

Karim Khan was Shah of IRAN! Karim Khan was born in the area between Malayer and Boroujerd. Karim Khan choose Shiraz as his capital. Karim Khan was Lor and therefore 100% IRANIAN. Karim lived and died for IRAN.
Lors are Shirazi Shirazi are Baloch Baloch are Khorasani Khorasani is Tabrizi Tabrizi is Mazandarani Mazandarni is KermanI Kermani is kord kord is Rashti Rashti is Yazdi Yazdi is Esfehani . . .
What education you got from your country: The Persian you speak has 60 plus percent of Arabic words at least Kurdish is more purer than Persian/ Arabic language which is the only medium of studies in Iran. Lors Always Kords
@amir538 This shit is NOT Lor. He does not speak for Lors. He has no heritage of his own so he chooses what he thinks is a clever screen name and start BSing. Lors are PROUD IRANIANS! Lors have always been brave defenders of IRAN. Lors do NOT go around wining playing the victim. Lors are men and women of diginity same as all real Iranians.
@persialover2010 yeaaah but america cannot force u to say ure american. the case is different, our homeland kurdistan is divided and ruled force by iran iraq turkey and syria.
