Hell, I would be so happy to have a player like Matt on my tables. My NPCs would constantly try to start conversations with his charakter, just to see him roleplay :D

I really liked a lot of implicit techniques you were applying and it was your first time running a ttrpg! You rock Bluejay! Congratulations from a spanish roleplayer and GM.
Whoa! I clicked on this seeing a cast of DM's play a game thinking "no way". It's real?!? This is like some alternate universe/Star Trek distorted timeline fantasy football AND "what if" mashup! I clicked on this thinking it was just a click bait picture someone made with photoshop... It's real yo! DM's as characters for a show! I love it!
I'm so happy for Matt being able to play a character. HOWEVER, why does Matt always try the hardest? No matter if he is DM'ing or playing he stays in character the best, he always RP's the best, does his best to be a good party member or DM. Why can't we just give him like 5-6 people as dedicated as he is at doing what they love.
Matt has a TON of experience with voice acting which I think really helps him project a finished character from the get-go. I could learn a lot from him and I hope to get even half as good at setting a scene with voice/body language
Dan Nietsche I don’t think calling out his years of experience as something to emulate is over-celebrating. I could call out things I want to learn from every member of this cast, that’s why I chose them to be here
Everyone in this video is dedicated to TTRPG and extremely talented. The idea that no one else did their best or that they aren't as dedicated to the hobby because they didn't come to the table with an extensive background in voice acting is ridiculous. Ultimately these are games and the point is for everyone to have fun, and there are a million different ways to achieve that through a million different styles of RP. Everyone did a great job.
Matthew is a voice actor and spends a lot of time as a GM, from personal expirience I spend several hours every week trying to learn new voices and accends and I have spend about half a year doing this on regular bases, you need a unbeliavable level of hard work and talent to pull of what Matt can do and just because other players arnt RPing as hard as him doesnt mean they dont have fun ! the most important rule for any table top RP game is for everybody to have fun !
Provides an abstract mechanic that represents the dangers and difficulties adventurers face when traveling through hostile territory? You'd think that'd be obvious.
Is the wizard Dasani like Dormammu with his Mindless Ones? Did Cornelius swap gods because he got upset that his avocado toast got burnt? If so I empathize with him.
