Her cover of "Rise Up" on the Wishbus" is one of her most viewed RU-vid videos and the original version (this is the same one) had more than 100 million views before it got taken down for some reason. I discovered Mori at the start of the pandemic and have kind of been obsessed ever since (trust me...she's kind of "addicting" when you watch her performances). I've seen channel after channel explode just by becoming regular reactors to Mori's performances. The fact that she is not "yet" a global superstar is actually amazing.....she's THAT good. im a huge fan of hers, I saw these early wish bus performances years ago and felt like a kid in a candy store. I couldn't wait to check out what else she has done. I think it's ridiculous that she isn't performing on major stages here in the U.S or at award shows because her voice up to par with the greats in pop music today, and even surpass most voices we here on the radio. it's unfortunate that the exposure she would get in the states (more than she already has) would almost always come with a dirty contract that won't benefit her from a creative standpoint

At one point the original video had 285 million views and the original singer Andra Day video of rise up only had 88 million views. Hmmm let that sink in. It's probably the best this song is ever going to be sung.

I believe Morissette covered this sone in 2019 - Her first video of this was taken down because it had more views than the Original version of the song; so many viewers/reactors shared this video it found its way back on YT and continued to grow in popularity.
