The one good thing about the Covid pandemic in my view is that it gave me more time to surf the internet from home which allowed me to discover Morissette! Discovering Mori has truly been one of the best things that has ever happened to me in my lifetime (and I have been around for over 6 decades)!! No other artist can touch Morissette as far as I am concerned. Her performances put me in a state of heavenly bliss and I never want them to end!!❤❤❤❤
Like yourselves my first encounter of Morissette was her Wish Bus performance of Never Enough two years ago. It was so unreal that I had to watch it over and over again. I wasn’t completely convinced that she was the real deal until I watched her second video which was Rise Up on the Wish Bus. I have since watched numerous versions of this cover by Morissette both on stage and a Cappella but in my opinion this Wish Bus version was THE PERFORMANCE that really sold me that this voice was the real deal! I have been following this phenomenal artist ever since. I’m not really sure how many views this performance had before it was taken down by YT but i would imagine it would have surpassed the original by Andra Day.

As Leandro suggested listen to Akin Ka Na Lang (turn on subtitles); in this song she displays much of her vocal tools. She will draw you in with a gentle intro, then slow elevates and display her range...then watch out!

Best singer on the Planet 🌏. Its the same bus. Lol😂 they drove it all over the city. This was at an event they set up and invited fans to come see her. Sometimes they drive around. But this was all pre pandemic. Now they only park in and fans watch from a distance. Hopefully they start driving around soon. I can’t go a day without listening to Mori. I’ve been addicted to her for 4 years now. I recently discovered another amazing artist called John Farnham. Like Mori you should only listen to him live. Listen especially to anything he does with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. I consider him to be better then Dimash as a performer. Loved your reaction cheers

WISH is a actual FM Radio station...and when the bus was first introduced...it actually drove around as they recorded videos....but found it was difficult for artists to maintain voice.....so ....started parking in advertised areas....so people could watch and listen. You can see its a real bus...in the A Whole New World video with Darren Espanto....both were selected to help promote the Aladdin movie in 2019 in the Philippines.

Oh Man! This version is definitely a masterpiece + excellency. If you have a chance to get yourself to react this " RISE UP" by Andra Day itself. You'll hear a grandma singing a song while Morissette, is like a granddaughter, aggressively and powerful. That is why, l confirmed and heard, this Morissette version got deleted multiple times cos of it outshine better than the original.

It's funny, I was thinking about this the other day, that for me, Morissette and Gigi are the two best female singers in the Philippines right now, hands down. Both are very versatile and have this air of elegance to their vocals and their performances that comes out even when they're not singing songs one would typically think of as elegant.
