he wasn’t used the same in the post season then he was reg season buddy even when he was making them they still win they just had our number and our bench didn’t perform can’t blame dlo alone
Reading is essential. No where did I blame Dlo, all I stated was making his open 3s was the difference. While he missed open shots MPJ drilled his. After all he is our “best” 3pt shooter right? Just like MPJ is to the nuggets. Game 1 | 1-9 from 3, 13 pts Game 2 | 7-11 from 3, 23 pts Game 3 | 0-6 from 3, 0pts Game 4 | 4-8 from 3, 21 pts Game 5 | 2-10 from 3, 14 pts
@@plutohndrx You were blaming him. They lost the game he made a lot of threes. He shot better than MPJ in that game. DLo is also, a playmaker too unlike MPJ.
DLO should stay man. I feel like only reason the players underperformed is because the system they were running. Ham coaching decisions hindered this entire team and it back fired when we needed our key players the most. Idk about ya’ll but I want DLO back. He’s right about team chemistry. Keep this group. Just get a new coach who can put AD back at the 4 with a center near him & a solid bench.
@@LongLiveRed-qm5ge we suck with him? There was someone behind that clipboard who had 3 guards playing and a 40 year old at center to back up AD.. this roster was 1 big man, 1 lineup away from winning a title, the only team that were coaching themselves. It’s pretty reasonable why DLO is acting the way he has. He goes to Orlando is going to be an all star again.
DLO IS RIGHT, HAVING A CORE GROUP IS ESSENTIAL TO BUILDING TEAM CHEMISTRY , NUGGETS BEEN HAD THE SAME GROUP SINCE 2020 , THIS TEAM HAS BEEN CONSITENTLY GOOD AND RESTARTING BRINGS MORE PROBLEMS , ITS BETTER TO KEEP DEVOLOPING
@@JC-eu8rgHammburger has wasted two years of developing Max Christie because he preferred six foot guards to play. Castellano should have played more this year and taken Jax’s minutes. It’s all good because Hamm is gone also.
@MsCamicam he's still fairly young and has been improving, he's pretty solid to me just gotta get used to the pressure more but he's holds a laker record don't forget that part
DLo is a keeper. He will get better as he keeps going! He had a helluva SZN! That crazy 2nd half run was the best version of him on the Lakers since his Nets days! But yeah if he wants to stay and run it back with us I say go ahead and do it Brotha! Your always welcome in LA! 💜💛🙏🏽😤
Ppl don’t realize how hard it is to not be able to play your NATURAL position and used as a scapegoat…DLo is a star when put in the right positions to succeed💯💪🏾
@@MsCamicam Point guard..running the offense, playing at his pace, putting players in proper positions to get the best out of em…prime example dropping 40 on Dame
DLo got better this season. He will continue to improve. I think several teams will be interested in him if the Lakers want to trade him. It seems like he advocated for Ham to stay.
@@boooogin his 5 playoff games this year, playing an average of 38+ mins he scored 14 points, 4 assists, 3 rebounds. 6-20 game 1, 0-7 game 3, 6-15 Game 6 elimination. At 28 years old get this fucker off my team.
He was actually very consistent after the All-star break and he's the best 3-point shooter on the team. That's why, he broke the Laker's 3-point record.
Yea get him outta there PLEASE.. bro I will not tolerate this dude f'in up every time when it matters and then acting like "yea I put everything on the table" mann don't get me started, LA NOT LIKE THAT ANYMORE SINCE KOBE PERIOD
I have total respect for DLO , he’s being use as the scapegoat as did Westbrook!! No one can excel playing with lebron .. leave the lakers homie !! Lebron is leaving to
I like Dlo, He played his part, And for the rest of the lakers besides AD and Bron, and of course Dlo, And give Spencer some more time on the court they’ll be fine, But the rest of the Lakers gotta go, And say hello to Trey and Demar 📌. Period
Need to trade him for a pg who is a better defender and will actually show up in playoffs and also a big man and fire ham and hire a coach who knowns how to coach.
Dlo won’t change I’m sorry there’s a reason why he never found a team that can stick long term. If u remember Minnesota vs Memphis 2022 a lot of ppl had a lot to say about how bad he performed he’s always been this way
I get he is well off financially and obviously has talent to get into the NBA. With the crappy mentality of just your loved ones telling how proud they are of your ups and downs shows he is not a winner. He has a poor man mentality and thus he is inconsistent and not rise up during crucial moments. He will forever been known as a scrub as a professional.
Leverage ?? You've disappeared and got hott off and on all year. He wants to be overpayed so he can really be a disappointment. Timberwolve fans told me he disappeared when he traded for him
He has leverage. If he opts out, the Lakers get nothing back (no salary cap, no player back in trade, nothing). It's either DLo back or a vet minimum signing.
He has the player option plus he Avg 18 6 w/ 42% 3PT as a 3rd/4th option. There are plenty of teams who will pay him to give him more freedom and at least be a 2nd option
@TheQuickyouknow So he will get signed here or somewhere else just to be a trade piece with a big contract the rest of his career. That's not leverage if he was dominant in this position I consider that real leverage disappointed in this guy foreal
@@dontizzle805 Why are you expecting dominance from a guy with this contract? He's making a touch over the mid-level exception. DLo is a great value for his contract, yall complaining about 3rd options not playing like max contract guys. That's dumb. DLo has leverage because the Lakers need his contract, whether he gets traded later or not doesn't change the fact that it's his opportunity to get a bigger pay day.
@@hybrid1339 if bron leaves and win… yall would be talkin bout he a team hopper and a quitter. Stop it. Lakers been trash before he got there. Lets not act like kobe only got 5/7 out of 20 seasons there
@worldwidewheels If he left and won a chip it wouldn't be because of him anyways so I don't care about that personally...I'm just saying he needs to let the lakers build for the future instead of continously trying to win with a bad team for bron sake...and kobe also got paid heavy his last 2 seasons with thr lakers knowing they would not win a chip in those years because even with kobe they didn't have a playoff team, let alone a championship caliber team....but I'm not speaking on kobe I'm just saying lakers can let bron leave and start rebuilding
@@hybrid1339 i get what u saying but the lakers wouldn’t be relevant again without bron. and if he left and won a chip it would def be him playing a major part in it unless he sumhow ends up on denver lol but bron already secured his legacy. He just enjoys the game and isnt ready to retire. Still making 100s of millions of dollars
AUSTIN REAVES AND RUSSELL ARE THE WORST DEFENSIVE BACKCOURT IN NBA HISTORY. REAVES COULD NOT GUARD A DEAD PERSON AND RUSSELL WOULD NOT EVEN TRY TO GUARD THE DEAD PERSON
If you watched the game DLo actually did a great job on KCP since game 2. KCP was essentially a non-threat in game 5 because of DLo. And AR did a commendable job on Murray, but good offense will always beat good defense.
Should have traded this playoff chocking ahh for dejounte murray. I swear this organization and fanbase is dumb ash. Dlo is built for the regular season not the playoffs
DLO should have been traded for Kyrie Irving! That was a huge missed opportunity by the Lakers. I’m 💯they would still be in the playoffs. DLO is just to inconsistent and disappears in big moments when needed the most. He choked against Denver last season and the Lakers kept him for a repeat performance. Wish you well DLO but your time with the Lakers is up👋🏾
