As a Cardinals fan I just wanna say that it sucks to watch somebody like Goldy leave your team, and Cardinals fans understand bc we’ve felt the same thing when Pujols left. I hope he has a great time in StL and hopefully we treat him right, but his time as a Diamondback was really special and D-backs fans should be proud of that
As a Cardinals fan I give you a lot of respect. It was kind of like when Pujols returned this year. Just because Goldy left, I think he will always be a Diamondback to you fans. Cheers guys!
I miss him but ya know what....He's on a team that can actually compete each year for the playoffs. He will be missed but I'm happy to see he was able to make things work in St.Louis. Beat those Dodgers for us D-Backs Goldy!!!!
@@Ariana321 It's all good. There's always next year. This postseason has been just as memorable as 2017's, due to the fact there's former Diamondbacks on most of the teams, so it's been fun to watch.....***EXCEPT AJ POLLOCK WHIFFING ON EVERYTHING....THAT WAS PURE COMEDY GOLD***
I’m happy that it’s worked well for him in STL so far and I’m happy that he’s on a team that has a good chance of making the playoffs each year but I hope the Dbacks are able to sign him to a 1 day contract or get him for his last few seasons so he can retire as a Dback if not though it’s alright but he’s a player that I’ll enjoy watching wherever he plays and I can’t wait to watch him play live again tomorrow
Goldy, we love you even though you drove me crazy by not swinging at pitches. We love you for so many memories. Give it your best for the rest of your career!!
And developed a replacement in Christian Walker.... not on Goldy's level (but who is?), but a solid replacement nonetheless who will no doubt only get better in that spot as time moves on... with Kevin Cron hopefully able to develop into a semi-decent backup
Paul Goldschmidt son gets older if he plays baseball probably 20 years from now probably the Arizona Diamondbacks would probably have Paul Goldsmith son to play for the Diamondbacks :)
