Start Josh Love, what the heck? The memphis offense came alive in these highlights as soon as they got him in the game. DC picks up another hard fought win against a tough defense. Te'Amu has what I think are probably the best legs in the UFL
In a healthy sports league, your team has a bad season, and you shrug it off and think, "maybe next year." However, the depressing thing about a team in the UFL having a bad season is there is no guarantee of a "next year."
Strong team win. Shout out to Jalan McClendon! I loved the commitment to the run, and this was the offense I expected to see all year! Hagans and Harris both had solid runs, and the O Line controlled the line of scrimmage. Only one more game left ... 🛡️ 🛡️ Up!
Would love to see the UFL bring in special commentators, like Kurt Benkert who have experience in both the NFL, and the UFL and have a high football IQ that is able to break down some of the plays similar to how the NFL uses Tony Romo.
I feel like Kurt Warner would be ideal considering his time in the Arena league and rise from basically nowhere. Dude was literally bagging groceries 2 years before going to the Superbowl.
This reminded me of when Josh Love was playing for Michigan Panthers late in the 2022 season he would play great but get knocked out of the game after standing in there taking big hits on every throw
About right. I am from Memphis and basically came here to see how empty the Liberty Bowl would be. It’s empty but actually has more people than I thought it would have. But yeah, watching a 1-7 team that doesn’t live or practice in Memphis and who is flown in from Texas in almost June weather, no thanks too.
@@LilMonkeyFella87absolutely right! They do t have rob to replace what abram was and they don’t have the O-line they did a year ago and the starters keep getting injured
I’m loving the UFL, but Johnson better start investing real money for it to start becoming a more attractive product. Attract undrafted rookies and free agents, sign ex coordinators with NFL experience, hire better commentators, add a couple more teams in markets without professional presence but with a willing audience. The sad truth is the league need to make and keep their own stars and lore or people won’t have any reason to fill those seats.
@@NineballChris how can they get better if most of the best players get poached by NFL teams to pay them better for being third stringers and practice fodder? What’s the last time the reigning MVP returned to a follow up season in any of these leagues?
Luis Perez - XFL Champion MVP Taamu - Offensive MVP A.J. McCaron plays in the league. Bob Stoops is a head coach, Mike Nolan is a head coach, Bruce Gradkowski is a coord, Wade Phillips is a head coach, Taco Charlton was a 1st round draft pick, 1st round picks all over the place. Nobody seems to care about pro football in that area(TN,AL,GA,). Its all about Vols, Tide, Bulldogs. ..🤷🏼♂️
@EJx6 the ability to retain their players and make household names that people can cheer about. There are some players over there with some SERIOUS careers.
Nice J/L-cuts with the audio. Sometimes the highlights can just very abruptly cut from one moment to the next with no concern if anyone is mid-sentence.
since the season is over for memphis cut the entire defense all of them entire defensive staff top to bottom they all should have never been hired at all
DC is starting to look like how they were last season. All 4 XFL teams are looking pretty good right now (despite the records) Arlington also pulled off a huge win over St. Louis, now they look like they did in the second half of last season. USFL still only has a good Birmingham, a pretty good Panthers, and two complete trashbag teams. Not saying the XFL is "better"... but it's definitely more balanced, and they all had harder schedules, because they had to play eachother twice. USFL schedule was pretty easy looking for Birmingham... almost like a bunch of doormat games for them, with an occasional strong opponent... and they only had to play each XFL team once. Basically same for Michigan... It's like the XFL teams were there for actual competition, and the USFL teams are there just to groom up Birmingham for the championship. I know that wasn't how it was intentionally set up... but that's what it looks like. Lol
I have been saying that when the UFL dies, the Commanders should just rebrand themselves as the Defenders. Much better name, like the uniforms, a clean break from the Redskins.
@@t-d0ggofficial540 I grew up in northern Virginia (Fairfax) and was a Redskins fan my whole life. I was cool with "Football Team", but I couldn't stick with the Commanders.
@@christopheraaron8299 now football team I was actually down for, lol, it was silly but idk why it had a charm to it. However commanders is a no. Idk who came up with that but that name sucks. But they just need to go back to the redskins
Can y’all please stop trying to put football teams in Memphis? They never do well. Also, the Liberty Bowl is a trash stadium that nobody cares about. It’s hideous.
