You hit the nail on the head. I am constantly wishing these "army builder"- style warband packs were more generic (like they did with those awesome recent military packs, though i wish there was some range, though that's a topic for another day), and leave the more characterful figures to the full set.
I will be getting these and I am very happy with my skeletons pack. Zombies and skeletons in blind sets are always commons with little detailing. It's nice to have some premium ones with character to put on the table.
Should be reversed, imo. Leave the specific ones in the blind boxes you might only get a few of, then put thr generic ones in these sets to get a bunch.
Wizkids is very bad at picking what figure sculpts go into these Warband packs and into the C/U/R slots of their blind sets. They just do not understand what minis buyers want muliples of to use as "troop builders" and what minis will be "one offs".
What should the cost? in my opinion, they are really badly painted. Now really, if that costs like other sets 30Euro or so it's a really bad deal. I can only recommend everyone to buy a 3d printer. There are infinite files that are a hundred times more beautiful than these miniatures. And not to mention that if I print them myself it might cost me 1-2 euros max. And every beginner gets more beautiful results than these pre-painted miniatures. :)
