My immediate reaction when Obsidian is mentioned: That's true, it's very sharp- but as it is volcanic glass, it's very fragile you see, and thus it's not suited for- *sound of getting smacked with a wooden bat*

DM: "Gothi collapses" Party: "WHAT?!" DM: "End of session, see ya guys next week!"

All the drama aside, Xanu learning basic motor functions, picking up a plant and then standing there all proud is so funny

I can imagine the DM's excitment when you cast Locate Object. That is the best way to reveal a twist like that, and he didn't even need to do anything! Its always better for players to find things out unprompted like this, rather than hinted to or explained later, it is super fun for the player when they find secrets they know wasn't going to be shown until later.

I feel like we dont give Dingo enough props for the voice acting in this series too. Incredible art, and vouce acting, all indie just for a youtube series about a dnd game? Incredible stuff

Let’s not forget Xanu, Jack, and all the other NPCs are Dingo’s BF who is the DM making all the character interactions and jokes too. If it accurate then it’s just the DM fooling around with his world which is hilarious

12 hours!! Wow. Really puts into perspective on how hard everything is hitting the characters. It’s basically: Viewers: **sees everything go down in a span of months** Players: **sees everything go down in a span of weeks** Characters: **dealing with this mess in mere hours**

I love how there's absolutely zero audio in the cut between everyone staring at Sips and him inside the cage. That adds like so much to the transition

The image of Misika just standing there pointing at baby Sips, saying “Witness him” absolutely killed me.

Godrick I: Backstabbing traitor. Godrick II: Lemon connoisseur. Godrick III: God king tyrant.

Goddricks gotta be my favorite Fool's Gold villian right now.

Sips provides so much for the group this episode, and he ends up in a cage that doesn’t seem to have a lock.

Xanu going from powerful godlike being trapped in the mind of a monkey...to a completely inept oaf who just learned how to walk again and can't even tackle picking up objects is one of the funniest character contrasts i've ever seen xDDD

Every episode, the foreclaimers get progressively more Aztec and as an Aztec descendant I love it-- I'm talking about the obsidian for this episode, btw. We wedge that shit in clubs so we got spiky rock clubs-- (they're called macuahuitl)

so two things: Sips doing a thing and revealing something crazy on accident is bringing up the vibes from the Karaoke Incident in Ep. 1 two: so Jack and Masika are NPCs right, so the whole romance plot between them is just Felix flirting with himself? sorry during the adorable scene about stones it occurred to me that Felix was just talking to himself the whole time (unless I'm mistaken about them both being NPCs)

I think Jack casually nerd rizzing Masika about rocks is super cute

I love the Zanu jokes, it's so brilliant that this powerful god was built up as a big threat for half the campaign. Only to be completely useless because of problems with his body! The best part of the joke is that he still holds the plant after the plan meeting 8:30

BRO THE ENDING OF THE SCENES WITH THE TWO GROUPS WENT HARD, the reveal of all the power crystals, AND WTF KINDA QUESTION HE GOT?!?!?!?! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-

Hard to imagine this series started out with Karaoke summoning a Tarrasque compared to what we're seeing now. ...Bet that thing would've come in real handy for fighting Goddrick eventually.

This episode couldn't have come at a better time. After about episode 20, I completely forgot about the series for awhile, and just rediscovered it today. I had a huge marathon of episodes to catch up on, and this episode came out right after I got caught up. I can't wait to see where this goes!

I can’t tell you how much I love this campaign. I started dm’ing my first long homebrew in 2022, still going to this day. So to start off the campaign, the party was transporting a princess to marry a prince of an elf kingdom and stop a war. Suddenly a dragon proclaiming himself to be Nico bolas appeared. The dragon fried many guards and the princess in one magical attack until a mysteriously powerful wizard, in strange fuzzy robes, came in and snapped the dragon away proclaiming “sorry I was playing a card game with a god and…things got…ughhh… *sigh* outa hand” I love Felix’s world so much and these videos still give me inspiration to continue building my crazy world that has crazy stories that my friends and I come up with.

I’m gonna make a completely fabricated guess and say those 800 crystals are prisoners who spoke out against Goddrick III for his lack of “efficiency” (or maybe he’s hoarding them to power the sun extractor; or maybe he’s using anyone who speaks out against his rule as a power source, like an a-hole). But I’m excited to see what happens next!

This is a nice surprise. First, at around two o'clock, I started watching the last episode of a Speculative Evolution series that ended with the rise of sapience. Then, now, a new episode of one of my favorite D&D series drops. I am, as the young folks of the internet say these days, Eating!

I'm so glad youtube recommended me this channel. I have never watched a campaign so compelling since the Sunfall Cycle which was basically DND Dark Souls / Majora's Mask.

So I have a theory. Its a bad theory but its a theory regardless. For Godricks Kingdom, everything has to be peak efficiency. Secrets are inefficient so the biggest problem with the foreclaimers is communications, you might not have immediate access, but its inefficient to keep anything hidden. This is proven with the fact that Misika confirms Jacks translation of lemons. She is a hunter she has no need nor any reason to know about that, yet she does. Just because you do not have the access to know doesn't mean that people talk. So with that premise, the question... more the problem Godrick has is three fold. First he is an illegitimate ruler, he is a king with no real claim to the thrown. Therefore he does not have any legitimacy. Even if you are the most emotionally closed off person people will prefer the rightful ruler to one who gained power through regicide. The second issue is another schism within his faction. Since word would have traveled that Gothica Dia Sol is still alive, there is a chance that not only would Stella's Children welcome Gothi as their rightful ruler, those who are of Godricks faction would leave and join Gothi's to have the rightful heir be in charge which gives the fact he could loose all his power. The last issue is that Gothi is immortal, continuing off from the last point, if she were to ever return for her thrown it would be the end of any hereditary rule for the foreclaimers, and the end of his power even further as he would never be given the opportunity to regain that power. So Godrick has two options, one of them is a question. The other not so much and would potentially be seen as a plan B. So what is Godricks question. Marriage. If he convinces Gothi to marry him which i highly doubt would happen but humor me here. Godrick need legitamacy to keep his power, Gothi is the only heir to the thrown avaliable to marry. If he is able to convince her to marry him, then he is able to prevent the schism and potentially use Gothi to get Stella's children under his control again. Plan B for when gothi says no. Regicide. He will have no other choice but to kill gothi and parade her body to prove he deserves to be king. He deserves the power. I know its not a great theory but if we look at history this is how things like this were done in the past.

The rage cage got me afraid a bit, and i called it

I love the fools gold story. It has such a deep plot and story, and the characters are so entertaining. Arina is annoying but that makes her funny. Gothi is an amazing well developed character. I loved that she used to be the funny delusional granny old Gothi, and eventually became the leader we all know and love. Sips has a lot of teenage angst and anger issues but based on his background it makes sense. I love Sip's character arc and how he became such a well developed character. Sneeze is the friend we did not ask for but we all need. He is a beautiful little angel. Gorthan and Julian are really nice characters that have everyone's back when they really needed it. I really hope they are doing well ever since they left the party. Jack is a really nice side character, who is loyal and in some ways brave. I loved how Xanu is still learning to be alive in a new body. He is finally getting therapy and help, which he really needed. I really like the old foreclaimer who is friends with the party. She is really funny and reminds me of the grandma from Moana, but also reminds me of Rafiki from The lion king, as she always gives such good advice. I could keep writing more about how much I love this story. I am really looking forward to more. Thanks for these amazing videos 😻😹❤🎉
