Well technically an invasion in Spain does not necessarily constitute a D-Day. In real life, the allies invaded Southern Italy in 1943 and this isn't considered D-Day. They never managed to break through into Northern Italy until 1945. Furthermore, the Allies invaded southern France in August 1944 (Operation Dragoon) to support the previous D-Day landings. Btw, Operation Dragoon is rarely done in MP as it seems.

FusionAsh 3 Actually, Vichy France was the first defeated in the Second World War. Italy was always part of the Allies in the First World War. Italy was still hanging on as the Social Republic when Vichy France fell.

@@hyperion3145 what was hanging on wasn't Italy though, it was just a German puppet state with Mussolini in charge. The king, government and most of the Army that could had already joined the allies, so the kingdom of Italy had switched sides.

Dec3k5 That’s why I mentioned the Social Republic specifically, the Italian Civil War gets messy in that the Social Republic is often seen by historians as the continuation of Fascist Italy as opposed to the Kingdom itself (seeing as how there are two heads of state).

Well actually no because he failed 1 of his jobs, neutering the US navy. You see if Japan fails to destroy the US Pacific fleet then not only does that hamper them but it makes it so the other axis cant trade to resources they lack (rubber especially) and it also frees up the US Atlantic fleet to cause havoc in Europe. If Japan properly destroys the Pacific fleet and puts the pressure on the US then that Atlantic fleet will most likely be redeployed as the Pacific front relies critically on the navy to keep Japan in check else the US will be forced to keep forces in reserve to defend against a Japanese invasion.

@@vasilisdouklias6992 honestly they both have the same weakness of going all in on a single startagy and refuse to change it or coordiante with team mates when they work together and change plans there good but they tend to focus everything on one plan and refuse to chang it at all even if its hurting there allies or not working
