D.I.Y. Ford Focus 2 LED DASH White Change Soldering SMD (video-tutorial) 

Need fast help,please.as a below average soldering enthusiast,I decided to use 2 weekend days to change colour of the cluster on my cmax dm 2-2007. Bought blue smd's and slowly progressed...on the first attempt,being a novice,I realised that I poorly solderedhalf of the cluster,so I decided to finish it next day.took me a good amount of time,but when I was done,the fuel gauge stayed in dark(thought to myself:"10 mins job for tomorrow..." But realised that my led panel on the bottom(small one-connected via small needles) is hardly visible and flickers...well took it apart again,resoldered the faulty areas and noticed that one of the led tiny needles was bent. I straightened it,did the rest,and went to connect it to a car and this is just now! First-the engine fail appeaeed on hardly visible led...i replaced the "107" -10 A fuse,but no change...in addition- the fuel level is still in dark which I meant to fix tomorrow,but the worst part is that when Iturn the car off,take out the keys,some of the new blue bulbs still flicker on both big dials... I had no choicr but to leave the car overnight in hope that it will not drsin the battery completely...please help!!! Any ideas about the lights on and the led flickering and rather dimm...any help will do!!!thx

Thank-you. Very nice video. I recently bought a 2005 Focus hatch. And that red / orange snow-flake is very very annoying. I think I will put some black duck-tape over that LED and solve the problem. But how do I turn to green that ESP sign ? I always deactivate it when I drive. Because it cut power to the car every time I need to accelerate quickly.

How many volts are these leds?

I’m looking to do this on my mk2 2005. The LED’s you use, do they dim like the original ones when you adjust the brightness of the dash?

Which led chip need for this and how many volt

Just buy the 2007 cluster, the are white to. And no not the mk 2.5 version from 2008 onwards 2007 version has this exact cluster with white lights.

Your lcd screen is orange. Did you solder in 6 orange SMD’s behind it?

Can you swap cluster form Focus Mk2.5 to Mk2? I really dont like those retro green lighting of the dash....
