yes! i was just ugh at this moment. Here's how to fix it tho. 1) lay down a couple coats of white where you wanna paint. This will act as primer, kinda like how magic marker shows up better on bleached paper than a brown lunch bag. 2) get yourself nice brush. This will give you better line control. You can get some excellent ones from a art supply store, but they're spendy. I'd borrow a few from your school if you still attend, or buy some at a craft store, or a kid's toy store for mini ones. The type of paintbrush you'll be looking for is a bright or a flat. I like the angled flat best for precision work. Don't go too cheap tho. In the super low quality ones the bristles will fall out into your paint and it'll look like pubes dried in it. 0/10. 3) wash your brush's bristles and leave jussssstttttt a tiny bit of dish soap in it. then shape it into it's original form. This means that the brush will handle more like a sharpie than a brush, which means cleaner lines. 4) practice using your paintbrush on paper to get a feel for how it draws, this means that you will have a way steadier hand when it comes time to get stuck in on the actual piece. After using it, IMMEDIATELY WASH THE PAINTBRUSH. if paint dries in your paintbrush, you are straight up fucked. Also my art teachers will prolly astrally project into your houses and beat you with a palette knife. Idk. 5) whatever the fuck type of paint tabasko's using, try and get something better. If you can't tho, buy the colours you need for this project, and also buy some BLACK AND WHITE. A problem that drives me up the wall in these vids is that T's reds are always two tints too light. add a teensy tiny bit of black to shade it darker, or a little bit of white to tint it lighter. mix your colours on a sheet of paper towel to get em right. Really look at the photos of whatever it is you are painting, and try to match it best you can. If you are really looking to up your game, use some navy blue for darkening and butter yellow for lightening. Adds depth. 6) spread the paint as evenly as possible, making sure to pay attention to the edges. After that fully dies, add another coat, paying attention to the spots you missed. After that fully dries, another one. three thin layers makes the colours intense, vibrant, and long lasting, while also guaranteeing even colour distribution. Have fun painting family!!
