Hi James, a lot of work has been done by my dad and myself. Estimated costs start to finish is around € 13.000,00. The shredded pads are filter mats that indeed serve as the biological filtration of the pond. The filter you see is a Eric 3 filter made by Peter Waddington. The filter works with horizontal flow and biologically works perfect.
