Wow, this is just incredible, what a fabulous group of musicians and lord how that man can sing...thank you so much for posting this, so great to see what a wonderful live performer he was.
He was amazingly talented he put his heart and soul into every rehearsal and every performance! He gave me my first paying gig💞 I sang the background vocals on "Say you love me" Album . I was just 16 years old. I met him later and didn't realize that we had met years before. He knew my big brother first, but this I found out years and years later. When it came his music it had to be right! He was very respectful to me and always kind. He will be missed, However at John 5:28 Jesus said: The hour is coming when all those in the memorial tombs will here his voice and come out ! there going to be a resurrection!!! So all of his loved ones and friends have the opportunity to see him again!!!!! What a wonderful day that will soon be when Luke the heavens the earth 🌎will be made new !!!!🏞️💖

I got introduced to D. J. Rogers when I watched the live DVD of Leon Russell "Best of the Leon Russell festivals". Leon Russell got him on the stage and let him sing in his "A song for you". He (D. J.) was nearly bursting out on stage. Some time later I heard one of D. J. Rogers' albums, "Love, music and life" from 1977, and it touched me. Since then I heard five albums of D. J. from the 70s. Good stuff! Why is he hardly known? Can someone explain this mystery to me? Thank you. 🙋♂️Ronny
