Yup… 👍🏻 but for the battle he cant do that bc the judges 100% knw that was a freestyle. That’s why he lose each time when he freestyle in battle rounds. But in elimination, it doesn’t affect so much. As long u can control your pitch, tempo, resonance, transition, energy and the crowd and so on…
Napom and wunknown are absolute beasts at freestyle. Colaps and Dlow are pretty crazy at freestyle too but I don't stank face quite as much with them lol.
Love D Low's reaction to "one minute left." Even had Alexinho face palming XD Gene is always so hype to see his boy nape. Skiller laughing out loud from the power of liproll. The other judge next to d lows name is slipping my mind but he really loved the napom machine gun move hehe. Napom always makes me crack up while blowing my mind at the same time.
Well I mean the “I am Iron man” bit is even in the original black sabbath song that both of these actually cover 😃 but yeah off course, yookie has a version of the song too
I'm a student in Korea studying design. I'd really like to learn slang English since it's cool to use them in designing. Aside from the intresti gbb judge pov, I love you using your slang English. Please slang everything you say. Thank you.
strange how I think JP deserves a better rank than Napom 😅, maybe his fame plays a big part in his rank or maybe I just don't see what's crazy about it. I think his last GBB elimination was way better, more structured and clean !
Agreed with what all u said. Also we should admit that. Napom even tho he alrdy legend and old school, his sound all is so strong on mic that not many new school beatboxer can do that. Just some of them can do strong sounds for each their beat and stand out.
Did the judges know that Iron Man is an old Black Sabbath song, including the phrase 'I am Iron Man' that was said just as awkwardly/awesomely by Ozzy Osbourne?
He did say that the structure of both was mediocre, around 15:00 min in, but that Napom's crowd control/control of energy was better and made the mediocre structure effect the performance less, or something along those lines
@@icarusix8750 I don't mean in just this particular video. I was using that as a reference since it was clear as night and day, but it's been an issue for the better part of 5 years. I left a comment on another video regarding Dilip's theme. SBX treats the theme and structure as though they're the same, when they're not mutually exclusive (necessarily). Structure is the technical detail as to how the piece is composed overall, self explained. Theme is not. A musical theme can be many things. It can be a musical story, a mood or transition of moods, an overall sound pack and sound design, etc To give a better explanation of "theme".... If I were to make a mashup of many songs, it would be difficult to go from DeadMou5, to Jonny Cash, to Five Finger Death Punch, to 20's swing, to Bulgarian Folk music. All of those songs have structure and I can piece their structures together flawlessly and still it's nearly impossible to listen to because there's no overall theme. DLow always talks about theme/structure as though they're the same and always talks about how Dilip's theme/structure needs work... But the thing about Dilip is that his specific Theme INCLUDES a lack of or loose structure (along with other factors). That's his style and his sound by artistic preference. If Dilip were to make a track out of beatbox, it simply wouldn't be "Dilip"... Like it was forced out of him These are, after all, battles of beats. I admire beatboxers that make full tracks like Gene, Napom, Den, ShoGo, etc. as they are specifically made for casual listening. A beatbox battle is meant to battle and showcase beat ideas. No, I would not sit and casually listen to Dilip... But he's still one of the highest ranking beatboxers in this event, in my book. Edit: based on the way certain comments read, it sounds like Dilip won, which is great and all... But "structure" on the scorecard needs to be replaced with "theme" and "theme" needs to be redefined by SBX's standards. That would negate all this confusion.
Funny how you compare both Dilip and Napom their structure. I actually thought the same about this but I actually prefer Dilip in this. I like that the structure in Dilip his set was all over the place but didn’t enjoy it so much with Napom. Funny how you have it completely the other way around.
@@HerbAndriMusic yes but a rookie could have energy and power but it just wouldn’t “feel” the same as when a famous legend does it. All the negatives of his set would be amplified if a non famous beatboxer did it, and you wouldn’t be able to brush it of because it’s Napom.
its funny when you say his liprolls are the strongest so far🤣🤣🤣🤣 well obviously his liprolls are the best in the world so its always the strongest and the best. napom the legend and the GOAT!
