Okay, So I know I'm late to this and you have probably already seen all the most requested video so this will probably be a moot point. If you guys haven't already (if you have... I'm sure it'll pop up in my queue) you should listen to Codfish. You guys said you like the Singing and Beatboxing combo. Codfish is the best at that in my opinion. He has a great singing voice and his beats are just straight vibes.

Yall need to watch the full final. His second round of the final he took the other dude's melody and made an entire beat around it to counter. Counters are a huge part of beatboxxing battles. Taking the other dude's sound and doing it better.

Reading some comments before watching and I'm seeing a lot of talk about the loopstation part so here's some context. The guy D-low was battling (Rythmind) is better known for his loopstation performances. Playin off that, he imitated using a loopstation as a joke prop saying "I'm just a loopeur bro" D-low ofc claps back with the same energy " But I'm also a looper" and the rest is history ⏳

And if you're wondering, both of Codfish's rounds vs Bataco are in his 2018 Compilation, but Bataco's rounds are specifically good in this video, and Codfish has a LEGENDARY counter so context is necessary

I thoroughly enjoyed the SBX Kickback Battles. It essentially went from "Battle of the Beatbox" to "Battle of the Beatbox Video". I highly recommend watching them in order. Seeing the little bits of creativity on how the contestants used their surroundings, be it wardrobe, or small comedic pokes/gestures. Truly an incredible event.

So.. In that quarter final Dlow is mocking his opponent's rounds. In the 1st round when goes "WHOAAAU", yea he mocking Rythmind(his opponent)'s special sound, and when he clicking his finger, said " magic" that also mocking Rythmind's round. And in his secon round in quarter final, he just pretend that he looping cuz thats what Rythmind does in his round. Dlow just countering Rythmind's round AND Dlow do better than Rythmind

The looping bit was a counter, its a fakeout, hes pretending to loop while doing the whole "looped" beat. All of these (except the first) are battles and he is using their own techniques to counter them
