The thing is .. Codfish is a legend, not the best drop in the competition that is true but it's by far the most iconic ! ^^

@@Amicy nah, codfish deserved no.1 and I'll explain why Tomazacre (no.3) had an insane inward bass and every1 was overreacting cuz it was something new (compared to the other inward bass from dlow or even audical) What codfish did was a new liproll technique that impressed even the best liproller in the world (some1 who won GBB 2 times - something almost impossible) And I know it's easier to react to more insane sounds like Tomazacre did but Codfish just destroyed the stage with only 1 sound (u can rewatch codfish's drop and the crowd can approve)

4:00 More beatbox reactions!! They’re awesome! During GBB 2021 (which Colaps took 1st place in the Single category) had his beats and the beatboxers’ counters very carefully planned out into a system, and he made a 2-part video about the journey to GBB21. Highly recommend it!!

I love how they pause after Elisii and say “how do you battle him? You can’t follow that”, knowing that he not only not make it into GBB to actually compete other beatboxers, but that he also had a broken counter during his elimination which caused him to beatbox for nearly 5 minutes instead of 4 and ontop of that, he didn’t come with a prepared routine but just had a bunch of patterns and beats that he wanted to do. I know they wouldn’t know that but it’s just funny that even these guys seeing him at number 4 above others beats like Audical and D-Lows knew Elisii was a sick beatboxer and the judges couldn’t see that.

Something Alex said about going first instead of second is true, and I think it should be brought to light. I don’t believe the crowd reaction is accounted for in judging and it seems like it should be because the crowd sometimes goes crazy for something but it’s not part of the repertoire. It’s be cool to see a competition of who can make the most HYPE
