I love what this mask represents: wisdom, stability, power, encouragement, cooperation, coming into one's own. I had a blurb written about how I appreciate the way African art doesn't adhere to beauty standards, but that may not be true. The standards exist (as noted around 1:45), but aren't commonly held from my perspective. I'm gonna go ahead and not co-sign carrying 80 pounds worth of "mask" on your head, though. 😅
