The Warning played the extended play stage, recorded on Friday. Only a couple of less than a minute clips were aired on the Tuesday awards broadcast. Artist were allotted 3 takes for each of their 2 songs, They were the only artist to do theirs in 1 take. Also only artist to perform that was not nominated for an award. As the were coming off stage, the producer, over an open mic, said "Holy Sh!t, I'm a fan". They gave up 1 of 2 dates opening for G'N'R to be here. Song comes from the 3rd album, Error, same as "Choke". Pau wrote it after watching a program on evolution. "More" ,first single from the new album, was the other song played here. You liked Pau's scream, wait til you see her singing lead, try "Dust to Dust" or "23" from the Teatro Metropolitan CDMX 2022 concert.
You should also check out their vlog about this performance and walking the red carpet. Plus, the reaction they got from the stage manager after their set. It's quite interesting.
They said they had the music first for this song which is not usually how it goes. The drummer Pau said, "Let me write something to start this song". She came up with "I'm not in danger, I'm the danger." She said, '"that's pretty good. I like that lyric." Pau the drummer comes up with most of the song ideas. She's amazing.
If you were to go watch some of their very early videos when they were just starting out, you would know that these Mexican sisters were not yet little bilingual Catholic school girls when they first got into music at summer camps. Mom's a dentist. Dad's an engineer. He used to run a recording studio. They grew up listening to their parents' rock favorites and watching concerts on TV. The kids all learned classical piano first, then discovered Rock Band, the video game. Suddenly, they were choosing instruments. Dany started guitar lessons at eight. Pau started drum lessons at six. Ale started bass at seven, a few years later, as she's the youngest. Their first two albums were crowd funded and independently produced! Before watching any more of their music, I'd suggest you watch their two TEDx Talks on the University of Nevada channel, from way back in 2016 and 2017. Perhaps also watch The Warning: The Mexican Rock Stars Who Happen To Be Sisters [TIDAL Rising Documentary] on the TIDAL channel. Maybe watch Mayday in the Making, parts 1-6. As much as you like it now, if you know who they are, and where they come from, their music will make a lot more sense. These ladies are now 19, 22, and 24, and just finished a sold out tour, 19 dates in Europe and the UK. They're just back from Japan and a stint in L.A. for the launch of their new album, now in Europe and headed on to Canada, the USA, and other places this year. They already sold out a 10,000 seat arena in Mexico City for next February, and added another date there, due to demand. Their fourth album arrived June 28, and they performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live the night before. They’re on MTV Push during July. They are the real deal. They were a great cover band as LITTLE KIDS. But they don't need to do covers anymore. They are as good as, or better than the bands they covered! And in most cases, they are more fun to watch. Their superpowers are LIVE performance, music COMPOSITIONAL skills, LYRICAL depth, STAGE presence and charisma, and personal integrity.
Pretty good summary. Just one thing: Auditorio Nacional is not an arena, but as It names states, an auditorium. But not "any" auditorium but the most important and prestigious of the country (arguably of whole Latin America). In terms of cultural relevance it's only second to Palacio de Bellas Artes. Therefore it's really an important step in their career. Actually they were offered to play either at Palacio de los Deportes (A 20,000 seats sports arena) or Auditorio Nacional. They chose the latter and they chose well. Outside of Auditorio Nacional there is "El Paseo de las Lunas". Something like the walk of fame in Hollywood. Where the greatest performers gets a plaque with their names on it. Names that goes from Bob Dylan to Plácido Domingo, from Santana to The Rolling Stones, from Ballet Bolshoi to Luis Miguel, from Juan Gabriel to Ennio Morricone, from Celia Cruz to Marcel Marceau, from U2 to Rubén Blades. And so on and so forth. I am sure the name of The Warning will be added soon to "El paseo de las Lunas del Auditorio".
Great reaction 💙 These three Mexican sisters are fabulous! I suggest other react from Live At Teatro Metropolitan 08/29/2022: 23, Dust to Dust, Narcisista (all three sung by Paulina, the drummer!), Martirio, Animosity, Error, Kool Aid Kids, and the amazing cover of Enter Sandman by Metallica.
Dany’s facial expressions are fucking next level. Ale is in mega rockstar mode. Pau..well Pau is on steroids. A quote from the MTV video director “I’m a fan! HOLY SHIT!” The next legit super group.
The two of you need to see The Warning live. I have 4 times and have a ticket for September 18 in Cleveland. Having withdrawal because it has been almost a year since my last concert.
Have you really only done FOUR songs from The Warning in the past two months?? You need to check out' Disciple' and 'Dust to Dust' LIVE at Teatro Metropolitan!
Hi! In this song it seems that the singer (Daniela) changes her voice a little, compared to other more melodic songs like for example "Automatic Sun". In this one she makes a raspier voice. I like a little more when she sings in her more melodic and clear voice, but I also liked "Evolve". Daniela is also very expressive and the one who plays the drums (Paulina, I think) is very energetic 💪. Nice reaction again, thanks 👏 P.S. Don't forget Dimash 🙏, If you want to listen to the Dimash's voice sounding like an electric guitar, you should react to "Across Endless Dimensions", pay attention to ending. And if you feel like a very powerful song, "Olimpico" is a great choice. In "Olimpico" Dimash goes from 2nd to 6th octave, and he sings half of the song singing in his baritone/tenor voice and the other half singing as a soprano, very impressive too. I'm sorry, I promise not to remind you again, do not be angry with me 🙏
The girls understood the assignment...most of that crowd had no idea who The Warning was, and I bet they gained some new fans!! One of the stage producers followed them after their performance and yelled ," I'm a fan, HOLY S**T!!
You say you've never seen a round stage before, but you just reacted to Pour Some Sugar on Me by Def Leppard. That stage was round, and it spun around in circles while they were playing.
Danny has the best rockstar voice full of grit. Paulina has the most beautiful voice on the planet. Just listen to Black holes . She will melt your face.
Hi ! I had such a peaceful sleep after my shift last night thanks to you ! You really are nice people and I really hope we see each other some day in person. =) Alex
DNA meet up would be sooo wild lol I honestly couldn't imagine what that would be like but I am sure it would be chaotic and amazing 😭 they really are the nicest people so I am not surprised that their channel attracts other nice people.
I have four suggestions if you liked BabyMetal They are all Top female band Lovebites and Band Maid are the top two in Japan right now and are all female Double Guitar Attack (M&M) Midori (also took second in bodybuilding compatition) on Lovebites and amazing drummer(Haruna) and vocalist(Asami) the female Bruce Dickinson. For Band Maid Their bass player is such a beast there's a song with the bass player (Misa) in a guitar duel with lead guitarist( Kanami). Band Maid also has strong vocals (Saika) and drummer friends with Haruna of Lovebites (Akane). The other is Female led with two females Fuki singing and Jill on Violin Unlucky Morpheus, (holy Jethro Tull of Violins) she can play with the fastest also plays with Fate Gear too. They have an amazing song called Cadaver/Revadac and like the name suggest They play the song forward then backwards (with different lyrics) The fourth band is from Korea and is more K-Rock than anything else Fearless is the song I chose, Here are four songs including one with new bassist prodogy Fami (Lovebites) and the one I talked about with BM Bass/lead solo and the one I talked about with Unlucky Morpheus: Lovebites Hammer of wrath ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-pHrWRT0Jeac.html (Will be in U.S.A in September on world tour. First of all, did you guys edit the beginning?? I don't think I've ever seen you guys edit something out like that so it must have been wild af. ALSO, I have no clue what it is or what it says, but Andrea's shirt looks so cute; it looks like it has the happiest little smiley face on it. Although the vocal style isn't my favorite, this band has pretty sick instrumentals and I love the shots of the crowd with people being so hype, it's low-key adorable 😭 I still want to request the remix that was done for their song Choke, but I am nervous all the OG fans will attack me in the comments for requesting a remix to a song they love 😅 I feel like this is the type of band that you ladies would be in with Andrea going absolutely wild on the drums and Dallas singing from the floor next to the drums to make sure she gets a good view of Andrea's feet.
I'm not usually a fan of remixes, but that Choke one you mentioned is good, and opens up TW to a wider audience curious about where the original version of Choke came from. I don't see a downside, really.
Haha yes wheels edited it, I guess I misspoke at the beginning so that’s why it got edited😂. Yeah I’m sure if it was something funny it would have got left in lol. Oh we could definitely be in a band like this🤘-Dallas
