My best friend is a Marine. I jokingly told him to watch this series because it was about AWOL military personnel. He was hooked! It’s not talked about much, but it’s a widely known fact that bullying and assault happens to many militaries around the world.

Season 1 was heartbreaking but sooo good. Like, I know kdrama fans love fluff but this and The Glory is something that needs to exist as a wakeup call. So many young fans over-romanticise Korea, like it's some kind of heaven when it still have problems like any other countries.

D.P. is one of the best kdramas for me. The cast in season 1 was exceptional, their stories resonated with me, and even their comedic scenes were really funny ✨ Very much looking forward to season 2! 🫶🏼

Just finished season 1 and I am devastated. I cried in almost every episode and I just know season 2 will traumatise me. I wasn’t expecting any change even after what happened in season 1 because this abuse of power starts at the top…everyone has been harassed in some way and it has been made normal to one day want to wield that power over someone else. It’s sickening.

The types of tv shows that get you worked up and blown away at the same time When I tell you my jaw dropped watching the last 2 episodes of Season 1, nah I'm so upset and shocked. I'm so pleased we're getting a season 2 cuz I need to see Cho Sungbok getting his name cleared out -freaking media lying about everything again- , these bullies paying for what they did, the military system to stop tryna cover everything up and if Junho attempted to desert himself in that last shot of him running CHOI HYUNWOOK MA BOI

I just finished watching both seasons and I cried at the end of the last episode and my mom asked me why I was crying😂 this series is truly beautiful and emotional and not enough people talk about it! We need more series like this and for some reason this also reminds me of the flashback in strangers of hell when the mc was in the military. Sad that things like this actually happen in real life ❤

@@janeneoliviere1160 actually, I retired korean army about 5 years ago as lieutenant(which is one rank below Lim Jisub’s rank;he is captain on the show), I had ambition and vision when I got to start military career, but many cases failed my dream. Especially one of my colleague who was also lieutenant on other battalion suicided himself by bullet but entire organization was busy to cover up
