A few years back I tried to read all the New Universe titles. I started off trying to read them one each like they were released instead of binging one specific title. I gave up on that after a few issues because some of the books are truly terrible. DP7 was my favorite and I wound up binging the whole thing. You can tell outside factors are affecting it about midway. Changes abruptly made, etc. But still the characters were the most enjoyable of the line.
@@SonofCapwolf I made it awhile because it had a train wreck quality about it. Ken Connell is quite possibly the most unlikable protagonist in (20th century) comics history. Knowing that he’s a stand-in for Shooter really makes for fascinating psychoanalysis of the man. Ditto Secret Wars II.
@@robert2430 I love that all 3 of Shooter's inserts (Korvac, Beyonder, Star Brand) are sex magnets with models throwing themselves at him. I wonder what would happen if they three of them were to go to the runway show together, which one would the models all throw themselves at?
