How to contact the the city immigration office in Germany. We submitted our documents at VFS Delhi on March 13th and the same reached embassy on March 16. We sent an email to zZxxx on March 27 and the next day they replied that they have not received the documents from India. We have to reach university as soon as possible as the online classes would stop and there would be a gap after April 6 till we reach university. Kindly advise accordingly, as to how we could expedite the process. Thanks
@Jeevan Sahota answers to first and second question is already shared by me. the last part is that, you have to call or mail embassy regarding urgency of the application. So they might help.

What does it mean?

How do i show this amount for one year during my visa appointment ? Can't transfer it to blocked account since i won't be permitted to withdraw that. I submitted my visa application at the VFS Centre in New Delhi in early February and got a mail from zzVisaBva saying that my documents had arrived at the Düsseldorf Ausländerbehörde 3 weeks later. Since then (it has been 4 months), I haven't received any response from the Ausländerbehörde despite e-mailing them every few weeks (getting automated responses everytime), and both zzVisaBva and the German Embassy in New Delhi have said that they can't provide any status regarding my application since it is still being processed in the Ausländerbehörde. Do you have any advice on what I can do in this situation, since I am currently attending classes online but it is mandatory for me to attend in-person very soon
@Centiza you can mail your german university and ask if they have given their verification to Ausländerbehörde and then you can write an email to zzvisaBva from a different email id.

The embassy issues the visa automatically after a period of 23 days without you needing the approval of the immigration authorities. Therefore, please contact the German embassy to issue your visa." What does this mean?
@Rakshit Verma you have to mail ZZ again. If you visa application is in period of silence procedure, that means your application will be on hold for 23 days, if anyone want to raise any concerns over your visa application they can. However, if you silence procedure period has passed your visa will automatically be approved.

@Angita Thapa zzVisaBVA sometimes skip some email. If 7-10 days have passed and you have received no status. I request you to send one more email to them.
@Angita Thapa some people got reply from zz yesterday after waiting for 7-10 days. First get your status from ZZVISA then mail your cities foreign office.

It think nowadays they take passport on day of your appointment. So people don’t need this step. However, you can still watch how to track your visa application.

@Harold Augustine get a mail from your university that you have passed all prerequisites and does not required to show additional proof of language. Moreover you can mail to embassy to confirm about MOI ans attach the reply with your documents on the day of your appointment. Write a Good SOP/LOM and you will surely get a visa.

@Japsahib Bindra Walkin ke liye directly jao. App call kr ke pucho ge vo bole ge walkin D-stamping allowed nhi hai. But agr app Monday to Friday before 2:00 Pm jao ge vo allow kr de ge apko. Bas apko premium lounge lena phade ga.

But the address updated on it is my current address where I am living on rent and my permanent address is different. So would that be an issue in the visa process? @Keshav Sharma Sometimes embassy take more than 10-15 days to send a passport submission mail. Do not worry you will receive your mail this week. You can also call and email them regarding your urgency and that your classes have already started. They might help you.

@Aditi Saxena when your passport reached embassy. then it usually take 3-4 days excluding courier. It is average time, sometime you receive a bit early and sometimes a bit late.

@ashish pandey if you meet your University and course requirements for IELTS. you will face no problem. Germany usually focus on overall band score, until and unless your course demand each band score to be high.

@PB06 Wale city and case to case depend krta hai, but apka last ke steps pe hai jaldi aa jaye ga mail embassy se. You can also call embassy to know status.

Hi Akshun,I had applied for D Visa in Mumbai Consulate on 15th March 2023.My application was digitally transfered on 17th March but physical transfer is yet to happen as per the email ingot from ZzVisaBva. @@akshundogra that's the issue ,they have created an app called My Nürnberg and can only contact through that,for the app I need Anmeldung to login. Nevertheless can you also make a video of getting a Residence permit ,especially in Nürnberg?
