15:29 Bubba and D-Von definitely lived up to expectations. Never gonna be another team like em. I can't think of a time they were ever across the ring from each other.
Devon Dudley is a beast and an amazing human being. I met him when he was with the dudleys in Fort Lauderdale/Davie, Florida at the Davie Bergeron Rodeo Arena for an ECW show with Chris Benoit on the card.
*OOOOH, MY BROTHER. TESTIFYYYYYYYYYY!* Hell yea, D-Von was someone I suggested you speak with, when you asked recently. Now you've a chatted with both members of one of my top favorite tag teams of all time. Glad you could make this happen finally. Good chat.
The Dudley Boyz the G.O.A.T.S of WWE Tag Team.. I still remember being in College running red lights and stop signs because I wanted to see DeVon testify and see Bubba Ray go into that trance and obviously see who was getting put through a table!!! Devon get the table!!!
What a great interview! Every time I hear fans yell "we want tables" I think of the Dudlyz and "D-Von, get the table". I love listening to how wrestlers got their start. It should make a wrestling fan appreciate them even more.
Met him at a TNA event where fans just stood around the ring and wrestlers just randomly came out for a quick meet and greet! D-von signed my programs and went on! After it was over I realized I didn’t get a pic with him and he was on the other side getting ready to go to the back, I yelled his name and he stopped from going in the back and came over to me for a quick photo! He thanked me! Such an Awesome guy
he a family man the kind of man that gives his heart for the business and just saw him a while back ... i was outside of a building for an event he was gonna be at and I saw him blow the car horn at me while pulling in and he had smile on his face and I got to see him and bubba wrestle and always loved their wrestling

My time or this time period The Dudley's were and are the best of the best in the damn business the record shows they have done more than most tag teams in the last few generations.
Devon deserves more credit. If he did not team up with Ray, the Dudley Boys that we all know would not exist. He is awesome on the microphone and can out talk half the wwe roster. Oh, my brother testify!
There’s four or five tag teams in history that are in the same league IMHO. The Road Warriors, The Original Midnight Express, The Rock & Roll Express, Bubba Ray & D-Von and The Rockers. Today’s teams are great for the times, but in the long history of tag teams, these are my top five teams in the entire history of wrestling.
Once again brother Chris amazing interview as also happy early birthday for me it’s a hour and half til it’s ur birthday happy 40th Early Birthday brother Chris god bless you and your family and can’t wait til we hear ur a dad and ur princess comes into the world.!

I love the Hardyz; their vibe was and still is awesome. I loved E&C’s gimmick, the arrogant asshole frat boys with the big hats and sunglasses and flash photography moments. But there is nobody, and I mean NOBODY as cool as those damn Dudleys. You knew when they touched the ring they came to work; somebody was catching a beat down, and a beautiful one. Their outfits were so frikkin dope, their finisher easily the best tag move of all time, their individual gimmicks that melded so perfectly. And gaht dayumn if D-Von wasn’t built like a brick sh*thouse. I always thought, “Why is he so swole? And he’s the #2 of the team. You know how bad your day is gonna be when THAT guy is your starting opponent?” Out of every guy ever on the roster, they’re at the top of my list of people I dream to meet. I respect all the greats, and, guarantee, the Hardyz and Edge and Christian are pulling close number two and three spots, but if I had my say, it’s the Dudley’s all the way. Hell, me and D-Von share a first name…he just pronounced it weird. 😂 Aside from that, we’re basically brothers…or at least second cousins. Ha
34:32-34:51 And when some fans say "you're out of touch for comparing modern wrestling to older wrestling", THIS IS WHY THEY'RE WRONG. Wrestling is like jazz music; it's not enough to know WHICH notes to play in what order, *you have to know WHY you play those notes* .
Well you can agree with what he’s saying here without beating the drum of everything has to be what it was in the older days. It’s absolutely possible that teams could develop a style that focuses on a story that people care about alongside their out of ring time on the show without it having to be a clone of what people did in the 80s. I almost think when people lead with the old stuff in this argument they shut people off from listening to it. If people just focused on key points of storytelling and the like without zeroing in on a time period as they argue it they would have a better chance of someone listening to the argument. That said I absolutely agree with his point. So many of today seem to be so hyper focused on doing as many cool looking moves as they can without caring about their story and it isn’t the best product. Without the story nobody cares about your match outside of thinking moves are impressive and even then once you see it tons of times the moves aren’t even fun anymore.
Their stints on ECW is how i discovered D-von and Ray. Their matches in ECW unleashed their creativity. Its obvious that they were PG'ed in WWE. 90% of the matches in WWE that had Team 3D were mint, censored, and watered down.
Love both these guys. I remember when I was younger, not a big wrestling fan at that time, and how terrified I would get when they would put the women through tables, thinking they were there to kill them... lmao
I'm a hardy boys fan Jeff was always my favourite wrestler still the dudleys/team 3d one of the greatest of all time definitely mount rushmore of tag team wrestlers
Dudleys return 3d the entire division and leave id be happy with that dont even need to wrestle just feed them guys to 3d and one "D-Von GET THE TABLES" I would mark out so bad
Wonder if there would have been any issues with the WWE since they own the Dudley name. But at the same time I think it’s smart to not use the name at least to start. If you come in as the Dudley’s the expectations put on you immediately are just immense and in your beginning stages you just don’t have much of a chance to live up to what people are going to expect of you. It would actually be almost ideal if you could spend a number of years without people knowing your lineage as you develop and then for it to be revealed once you are at the skill level to live to that name.
Damn what's up with everybody pausing a video for 15 to 30 seconds to promote a product that we're not really interested in! Why yes it's paying you but just scroll it at the bottom of the screen because we don't give a shit! You can even wear t-shirts with all the sponsorship on it like a NASCAR fire suit and wear it for the entire show and we still won't care what the product that's paying you.
Hardy Boyz - best in-ring performers/athletes Dudley Boyz - best in-ring storytellers and crowd work and best sellers Edge and Christian - best work outside the ring/on the mic What an era man, we were so lucky! D'Von's such a badass. Waazzzzuuuupppp!!!!
Rev Devon The Dudley Boyz are one of these remnants that are literally just Legends due to the fact that they were in the late 90s and early 2000s WWF. I never watched Bully ray; and think the name is silly and him being a top guy is silly. his look is generic without a gimmick on. he is the type that if you saw him at an airport; you would just say; "another obnoxious ƒäť Amerikán"
CVV is there any need to put 27 seconds of what is coming up in your video? Your content is either worth watching or it is not. I happen to believe it is always worth watching except having to wait 27 needless seconds for the good stuff to come on.
