Very confused and disappointed to hear what is going on with Embiid. I'm not a Sixers fan, but approaching this season, I thought they might have a shot at a deeper playoff run, potentially winning it all if they can keep everyone healthy. The recent news about him not playing back to backs undermines this goal completely. It might be fine and dandy now, but when they're in the thick of the season, this will be an issue. He really needs a vet, coach or someone he respects to reality check him and show him the way to the road to victory and what it takes.
I'm not Embiid's biggest fan, but these comparisons to guys like Lebron aren't fair. Embiid is a legit 7 footer. I start thinking about big men like Walton, McHale and Yao. These dudes never walked normally again after they retired. Their feet and ankles were absolutely destroyed. If sitting out back to backs works for the Sixers, go for it. I'm skeptical, but who knows.

Embiid can’t stay healthy….his knee or knees have been a problem every year. A guy that size with those issues needs to rest and limit the toll of the season on his body.

Questioning Joel Embiid's mental toughness after seeing him average 30+ on one leg with one eye, is utter stupidity. My question to Trevor is: Where's your intelligence at?
If he was anything other than a mental midget, he would come into the season in shape, slightly lighter, and possibly gone to the moon and back to find ways to strengthen everything hips down.
