In Sui-chan's 5th video, which was when she tried to look for herself... Akinator mistook Sui to be somewhat related to Sora. Of course at that time, she was still an independent but she dreamed to be able to collab with her Someday. Now we're here. Sora and sui-chan, together in Hololive. Living the dream as idols. Sui-chan shining brightly ever than before... Sora, being the goddess she is with her voice and talents. Hanamuke no Tori's lyrics fits Sora-Sui-chan's duet cover very well, it also has a reminiscent feeling to Comet's. "When I look upward, I find myself wanting to soar beyond the sky. The more I yearn for it, the further away from it I feel." reminded me of Comet's rough english translation in the chorus: "I sang in a voice that seemed to disappear.. I haven't been able to resonate yet, but someday in my heart, all over the sky." What makes it even more emotional aside from Sora and Sui finally having an official cover together, they here. Here is my take: both Sora and Suisei's journey can be roughly divided into two parts: the first part of Sora's journey is filled with pressure she took as the whole Hololive depends on her, while Suisei's first part can be refer to her time as an independent vtuber & her time in INNK; the second part of Sora is after the Hololive has developed, grown, and the pressure is no longer on Sora's side, and Suisei's second part is after she officially joined Hololive and gets her new skin. The lyrics start depicting Suisei & Sora at their tough time yearning for a better future, and the MV uses their old skin as the metaphor; the mid part illustrates the separation of the old skin (their past) and the new one (the future), "flies freely to anywhere to its heart's content"; in the last part, the old skins see themselves as the cage of the birds, carrying the burden for the birds while watching them fly away towards their glorious future, "escaped from the cages". Since this song is originally a farewell song, here Suisei & Sora's old skin/past bid farewell to their new skin/future, makes the song whole.

I was literally in tears while hearing Toki no Suisei. Suisui finally got a Duet song with the person that she wanted to be acknowledged by... Sora really made her statement true “it’s not just that I acknowledged you, I’m also right beside you”.

Incredible how Suisei sings Aimi's part and Sora sings Azusa Tadokoro's part, and now, Suisei hosts a radio show with Azusa Tadokoro, and Sora sang with Aimi on Bandori. Almost like it was meant to be.

Oh my lord, that old Sui-chan design hit me hard. Both Suisei and Sora-sama voices were incredibly soothing at the beginning then their voices harmonized together at the climax sounds so powerful yet so calm at the same time. The reflections of their past selves and themselves now are beautifully illustrated. Overall, this is fantastic, oh look Sui-chan make me emotional again. Looking forward for more ☄️☄️☄️

Even though I'm new to the rabbit hole, aprox 2 months. I've done my due diligence and familiar with the history of this two, even read Sora's manga. This song and it's visuals made me cry. And I'm not a person who easily cries. So proud of them.
