1:29 This image of her with a solemn look on her face reminds me of when Lamy said that when she first saw Suisei at the Hololive office, she thought Suisei gave off a vibe of being a quiet, stoic, and serious person. I also remember Suisei saying that she's the type of person to be very reserved and stoic around people she's not familiar with but is bright and can't stop talking around people she's comfortable with.
@@fileway9307 yeah, this is her backstory. Before she started as vtuber she's already trying to audition at some RL Idol Agency but got rejected because she considered as 'Jack of all trades but masters of none' . And then she's trying to become a vtuber as an idol because she want to be an idol because that was her dream. But the journey is hard and she's almost gave up around 2019, she's trying to apply in hololive before but got rejected with the same reason as the Idol Agency in RL. 'She's too talented at everything' and that can make her downfall because she will overloaded to do everything. But she didn't give up and reply back to hololive want to know what the suggestion that they can do for her. And Hololive accept her but she had to join Inonaka Music and focus in the music itself, but the journey in there also really hard and almost broke her because the company policy but she stay strong and finally she was transferred to the Hololive main branch and the rest is the history now. Rough journey, but it finally paid up with sheer hard work and not willing to give up.
@@RyoXanderS She got rejected by Hololive because she wasn't allowed to use her persona as "Hoshimachi Suisei" to join but need to start over with a new persona. She later negotiated things out and was allowed to join as "Hoshimachi Suisei". Not because of the jack of all trade thingy.
@@fileway9307 In case you're unaware, her anniversary/birthday are on the 22nd this month. When she joined INNK in May she had something like 6k subs but it didn't really give her much of a boost. In July the Suiciopath, and her axe, was born during a Winter Project collab with Hololive which boosted her growth some and then she really started to grow after being invited to participate in the Mario Kart New Year Tournament of November. Her debut in INNK were her, unannounced, singing Tenkyuu at AZKi's first live event. The audience was just an ocean of red penlights at first but one person switched over to blue and shortly after she was welcomed by this field of blue stars. She referred to it as a big turning point for her. Now she gets more invitations to events than she can physically handle, her own over-the-air radio show in the Kanto region, archives are available on the official 文化放送V&R channel here on YT, and Tokomachi Radio (temporary name) on YT with Inui Toko whom she was introduced to as "someone who's also crazy about Ensemble Stars". She is in every way a shining example of what hard work can do for you.
The MV really shows how far Sui-chan has come. All the struggles she went through just to get where she is now moved me to tears. I might have not been there at the very start, but now I will always say I am a proud Hoshiyomi. Anyways, what another wonderful cover by Sui-chan.
I've only been a Hoshiyomi for a little under a year, but Sui-chan's drive and attitude really set her apart. She is strong as a person, and I wish I were even half as strong as she is. Humans have ever looked to the stars for inspiration, and here's one now. Sui-chan wa~!
A whole journey in one MV. Beautiful, so beautiful. Sui's voice really hypnotize me and full of emotions. And so emotional. Remind me of her struggle, her effort to become a star that we all know now. Such a heartwarming song with beautiful voice, as well amazing art and MV. After search up the lyrics translation, i kinda understand why this song sounds so touching, especially with Sui-chan as the singer.
Love seeing Sui-chan changes her style once in a while. usually her songs are filled with energy, however, this one is filled to the brim with emotions. vocals and mv is top tier as always!
they didn't called her jack of all trades for nothing bruh probably easier to list things that Sui-chan couldn't do because there won't be many of them😁
Edit: The MV is so beautiful, I literally teared up watching it. It was very emotional to be reminded of Sui-chan's struggles at the start of her career and her perseverance to overcome all of that to get where she is now. Wow! A sudden cover release! Looking forward to Sui-chan's version of this song!
Saw the preview of the MV on Twitter and it's madly beautiful... I'm gonna fall in love hard with this one. 💖 Edit: I'm speechless this is a masterpiece, the art is so breathtaking 😭 Sui-chan's journey is 😭
This is Suichan's most strongest memories that kept her going! All in one perfectly illustrated MV, and like others said on Miku Day, too! Suichan is successful everyday too!
This is just like Polka's Tondemo Wonder cover, it's not their original songs but they sang and made us felt like it's their's Suisei's voice is as incredible as always and this cover make me feels motivated
