I have been hitting the lefty-fireman since I was in 8th grade, I'm in 10th competing at like national duals and whatnot and the fireman is STILL carrying like 80% of my scoring. Please show a video of some other setups, I'm craving some backpoints😈😈
im am amateur boxer, but I feel like wrestlers have insane strength, flexibility, and explosive power. Wrestlers can probly learn boxing but i dont know if boxers can transition to wrestling.
yeah i was in the best shape of my life when i turned 25 when i started wrestling. i always wanted to wrestle but my high school was poor and didn't have a wrestling team. and i wasn't good enough to wrestle in college. finally joined a wrestling gym at 25
Get that shadow wrestling in alot of people dont know how important it is, I do that every morning i do a round of shadow boxing and then a round of shadow wrestling 6-3 min rounds
I do muay thai/thai boxing and wanna do some wrestling for my school thanks for the vid workouts are basically the same, working on cardio and exposloive power
Can you please make more of these I really feel like there’s a lack of training guidance for off season newbie wrestlers. And what do you do if you don’t have a mat?
I have had a total of 4 wrestling classes and have been injured twice 😅 I really have to slim down before doing any more wrestling my knee ligaments need a break .
Start working out and eating healthy before you sign up for wrestling again. That way your body is somewhat ready to begin wrestling and your not starting completely from ground zero .
Nothing like cutting 35 pounds in 5 weeks, to avoid 4 incredibly superior wrestlers. I was a decent 189lb wrestler in high school and my senior year I played football at 205 and then cut to 171lbs to avoid 3 state qualifiers. All from the same conference, sectional, district…. Every step. So I cut 35 pounds to avoid them. And I ended the season like 27-11 and 5th at district (state alternate) and I’ll you what….100x out of 100 I’d do it again even if I NEVER qualified for the state. I love college wrestling. The skill level is intense. I hope you achieve all American status young bubba….every match is a gift.
"After you're conditioned. Every other day Freestyle one cliff face for ten reps, then move into your morning jog, making sure to aim for circa 4:20 per mile for 10 miles." But fr, Mf looking like he's low-key training to scale buildings and dodge bullets lmao. D1 for sure. 💪
I want to learn wrestlling for self defence. Were should i stant i do boxing and heard the footwork is similar . I know wat a sprawl is i know a couple single leg techniques arm drag to get the back (all in theory ). I dont have the muscle memory or coordination to pull that off also have no graplling parner i have a graplling dummy im thinking ab making a snap and shoot dummy to practice my set up to my techniques
The most grueling practices/work outs of any sport, I dont care what anyone says. Unless youve gone balls to the wall for 3 hours in a heated room, and I mean HEATED, you dont know what hard is. My best friend went on to the marines right after high school and he said it was a cake walk compared to wrestling practice. Most people dont even know lol
