This is such a great tip. When I moved from HS to college I got beat up so much in the handfight that I had to get really good at sucking up the elbow just to survive and it works wonders. You can neutralize someone's entire offense by having great outside elbow control and you can use it in your own offense in things like Hi-C's and duck unders

Same lol. It’s so instinctual to pull away I have to constantly remind myself not to. If you refer to the recent underhook video you can also “horizontally punch” to an underhook off their collar tie in this same position (listed as option #2 in the video). Always enjoy hearing from you brother!

Done some of this same shit in school fights(or just generally playing around which is more common) weird but true because what I've seen is that they don't expect for you to apple pressure so they kind of hold back so you have to be quick with it or just use all your strength to max out your probabilities of winning

I love when they collar tie...it gives me a 2 on 1 on the other hand. I got this collar tie counter from the Cuban Olympic wrestlier.

Coming from a former wrestler, I would just go for the duck under double leg takedown but this could be useful too

As a mexican the info to go in instead of backing up kind of comes to me naturally I always get this voice in my head if he hits u accept it n give it back harder
@jettschwartz748

This is an amazing technique but you can’t push in for very long. You have to take the pressure of and then clear the tie instantly. You can see Vito Aruja use this technique against RBY in the national championships. This is good stuff.

This a good tactic, another tactic is to meet his aggression when tying up, break tie and step back, and as you come in the second time, you fake like ur going to slap that hard collar tie AGAIN but ur gonna feint that hard collar tie and level change at the last moment and he'll basically lay right over ur shoulder for u to either elevate and return to mat or hit a modified duck under and circle behind. Good luck

How do i deal with a knife ? When i need to wrestle in dem down, but if they good with the knife ill take a few stabs while wrestling him down? So what takedown do i use? Where i live thurs no fair fight always a knife or a gun
@Smoothalcoholic
@Smoothalcoholic Год назад
you need something in between you and the knife assailant.... jk bro. if somebody is coming at you with a knife, run like hell. even if you would overcome a knife attack, you might die from the injuries or live with permanent damage.
