This is what happens when you have too much time on your hands, and connect eight D1255 keypads to a Radionics D7212 and assign all their addresses to the same partition. The panel is able to handle operating them all simultaneously without too much delay to the user. Its obviously slower since its handling 8 different keypad addresses on a half-duplex RS485 bus, but its definitely workable.
