It's amazing how a basically stock ZC made that power close to a modified one, goes to show how much potential that motor got and great tuning behind it, thats great power for a stock zc , would of probably made more at the top if it had vtec but this power band is great and consistent without the vtec
What is the review on a ARP Main Cap Studs on the crankshaft any good ? For LSV or B20v ? Also do I need a Girdle or a Girdle is more of a precaution for a b series bottom end ? So much for me to learn man want to go all out on my next two motors
They’re fine if resized and remachined properly Just be wary… more parts and options availability now doesn’t mean everything is a must… My friend ran 9.7sec turbo in 2008 with just Hondata s300 , (no arp mains) no oring sleeve no COP Yes all those help but we also see a lot use it and is still FAR from 9.7
Actually… it depends but not really… it mean my pet peeve is I see others run s300 ? Fueltech yet only tune the engine as if it’s Crome? Lol benefit for the track is he datalogs oil pressure and temp, fuel temp too… and coolant temp, and has all the guages in one screen so it’s kinda useful… heck for the street I’d use one (but can’t afford it haha) further details on stuff like this will be more often discussed in the members only section for sure and you know it 😎
No, he’s just for this season staying at his current bracket cuz the next up he is in the slower half of the bracket hence his plan next year is run p29 and skunk2 cam and all hopefully he pushes forward as that be a nice offseason project and content 😎
