Should have heated the bolts with the torch before trying to take them out. Then they wouldn't have broke.

Heat those bolts up to cherry red, let them cool off completely, and they should back right out.

Don't want to let them cool. That defeats the purpose. Get them glowing and get them out quick as possible. Impact would be best. Might have to reheat them a time or two.

Thats a 7J series not 7U, early to mid 1940's built

You might be correct but this is what serial number states.
