I want to thank Dadi Freyr for playing a show in Louisville, Kentucky. It was one of the most wonderful nights of my life. My fiancé, my daughter, and myself had a beautiful evening. We love you Dadi! Thank you for all the goodness you brought us. 🤘
This song will always be in my mind.. the live-version came out, when my father died one year ago. Now I don't have the chance, to spend time with him anymore, but it reminds me to say thank you for all the great time I had with him. Thank you, dad, I love you. Thank you, Dadi, for this song
My husband and I discovered Dadi a couple years ago & when we found out he was playing in Vancouver we were beyond excited! his music was a source of so much joy many singalongs that we shared. i lost my husband a few days ago & this is my tribute song to him. Thank you for being you ❤
This song is one of my favorite in your live shows. The crescendo of emotions from beginning to end of this song, I'll never get tired of it. Thank you Daði for the incredible journey you're bringing us into!
Thank you indeed. This is one of my all time favourites! Just love how the entire song is a long , very long, build-up, and when it’s at the most tension… it ends! 😁👍
You're gonna make me cry, I'm so grateful to be alive at the same time as you. We may never meet, but the songs you create are so utterly heartfelt and full of love and I can't thank you enough.
This is one of the best songs I have ever heard in my life and that is not an exaggeration. The world needs more of this energy. Thank YOU for being you, Daði. ❤
I heard this song for the first time the other day in the car on my way home from my grandfathers funeral. its power and emotion made me weep, thank you for creating the music that inspires us to feel. Your music has been so important to me the past few years and I hope to one day shake your hand and say thank you in person. Thank you so much for what you put into the world.
Thank you for yet another beautiful song, and thank you for being you! You always put a smile on my face and make me in a good mood! The world needs more people and artists like you! Thankyou 🙏
I’ve been really unwell recently and this song is one of the few things that has brought me joy in these times. Seeing him perform it in Stirling in June is the highlight of my 2024 so far.
Daði, this song really hits me in a good way. The message is so sweet. Sometimes after going through a bunch of things in your life you just need someone to tell you that it is okay to just be yourself. That someone excepts you for who you are because as much as you might try to be someone likable and fake at times in life ultimately you would want to just be yourself. Having someone just say "Thank you for being you." That is the sweetest thing. So thank you Daði for being you and creating such beautiful music. Your voice is amazing, and I love listen to your songs on repeat all of the time. Look forward to more music!
Absolutely Amazing! I hear notes of the '80's and was so surprised when tears began to run down my face, thinking of how much my wife means to me. Eurovision has introduced me to #DaðiFreyr and I am so glad it has. Can't get enough of it and can't wait to hear the debut album. In such a troubled world, don't we all just need a bit of #DaðiFreyr ?
This was the moment in your live show when I knew that I had made the right choice. I went alone to one of your shows in an attempt to win back some independence that I had lost due to poor mental health. Now, a year later, this still makes me so happy and thankful for listening to myself and really not letting anything get in the way of doing things I want to. Thank you! Thank you for being you. Your song lyrics always hits home for me.
My man! Coming through with that positivity and creativity that we've all come to embrace. Keep at it. It makes a difference to those going through tough times.
Thank you for this gorgeous song - I love it - Our lifes are in a rush hour - you can feel it listenig to the rhythem of this song - and the lyrics tells us what realy counts in our crzy times.
After enjoying videos of live performances of this song, I was curious how the record would sound. This is beautiful! Your vocals have never sounded better.
Wonderful. FABULOUS. AND NICE. Loved this live and love it more now. I am also a little obsessed with whether what the two hands are doing in the top center is physiologically possible. 😊
