She is the chair which means she's serves the public. She goes in there with detailed information on the most up-to-date and relevant issues (not personal) that need resolving or need to be addressed and she provides a floor for everyone to speak to present their resolutions. She's strong when she controls the floor for all those present and allows the public she serves the opportunity to listen to valid information, that allows them to gather in their own communities to make the most informed decisions for themselves afterwards. Anyone who wastes their time trying to win votes by sullying her, is superficial and doesn't understand how the political system works (concerning if they are even allowed access without this basic knowledge) and shouldn't be there really because that isn't her function. Whether the chair knows whether or not someone is fabricating the information they present the point is that they brought an imminent, issue to be addressed, speakers were kept on point (truth, in-between or not) and the public which she serves can go away with this disseminated information into their communities for use or not.
