I'll have to start getting some high tier Angmar units to match them. Then we can sit and admire them while they go at it.

so kind of dumb question but does AI Northern Dunedain have the same location restrictions as the player for where they can trained their rangers? if they do then they are only getting income from like fuirost westward and can only getting breeland units. also: are you close to getting trolls in the ettenmoors? awesome defense at Crow's nest as well.

The AI doesn't normally have player based restrictions, however, for example I don't believe AI Gondor can train Lebennin Marines anywhere which leads me to believe there may be some restrictions. Not restricted by scripts since they cannot complete them but perhaps restricted by region. Edit: Trolls are based on settlement lv so I might need to focus growing there.

Idk if anyone told you about that,but if you want to keep the custom battlemap for Crow's Nest,you cannot upgrade to the next settlement tier.

I'm well aware, the question is whether the higher tier is worth the loss of tactical advantage.

It's not really,the settlement is second only to Minas Tirith and Dol Guldur in terms of "my enemy dies to fatigue before I kill them". You could always just push the frontier hard enough,but tbh Ost Sul doesn't make even that much money what with half the bordering settlements being barely over village tier,and not having the great roads ND gets.

Would be insane but that archer that very few arrows, I think you'd run out too quickly.

I think pushing to Garth Helegof is the simpler way.....I know that the eco has been awful but need to get the training capacity up....the army comp's are really soft for turn 80 fights against ND.

That would leave an exposed border, it is two settlements across, one short of the Dwarven mountains. Better to push across multiple settlements so I can bring up the reserves from my initial borders extending the front line. Hold at Amon Sul, take Fornost and then use those two settlements to blunt Bree while I clean up ND in the north. My armies are not great but they are doing the job as long as I long wargs I can do work.
