Hi, I know nothing about South Dakota. I’m from Brooklyn NY, so we’re basically from 2 different worlds. Except for the fact that I love dachshunds. And yours are the cutest!! My little girl passed 3 years ago and my husband and I aren’t sure if we should get another. So I watch dachshunds videos to meet the need for now.
We had a mini for right under 10 years, and about halfway through got a mix/mini. Those two were the food mafia. Cheese tax was a given. "Look, we don't want to have to hurt you, but 10% off the top..." Boing boing look and all. The older one passed and now the other one rules the roost and has us trained well.
They are all adorable but the one eating the stuffing from the toy is made me cringe. My friends dog did that and ended up have a $5k surgery to have it removed from her intestines. Please be careful
They always spit out the stuffing they never eat it. But once they break open a toy I always throw it away this toy has been thrown away. I don't like to sew them shut once they compromised them. But thank you for your concern
@@KeystoneLisaI only mention it because a new neighbor didn’t know and was letting their dog eat stuffing from toys. I thought everyone knew but that was just an assumption apparently. I agree with not seeing the toy after they break it open too. One of my dogs used to destroy toys in under 3 to 5 minutes 😂. Love your puppers!!
This not a dachshund this is an Dackel and he has nothing to do with a Badger also Dachs, he is stubbern, he tells you exactly what to do. I know the very well because since 70 years we had Teckels, even during the WW I I and now I am 84, so believe me not ling and youre whole family belings to him, you will see. Greetings from germany
