the guy with the deep voice is Geoff (Jeff) who actually was quite high up in his bass range for this video, lol. he goes a lot lower than this 😄😄 I can recommend their We don't Talk About Bruno video for awesome vocals and some good laughs!

Rachel has never played Moana outside of this medley, but several years before this, she did play Ariel at Disney in Orlando for five years, and if memory is correct, she played Belle for five years as well. All of that in addition to her Broadway work, and competing on X-Factor.

Actually, Earl has yet to be replaced. J None, who I think is who you are talking about, actually replaced a completely different member who had already left before the Moana Medley was done.

If you have a fondness for the Disney stuff, VoicePlay has lots - the Little Mermaid, Frozen 2, We Don't Talk About Bruno, or just Broadway look for Wicked, the Emerald City before Dorothy and Toto ever thought of being there. By the way, he killed an eel.

They absolutely did a “Frozen 2” one, sweetie!!!! Check that one out with your Dad!!! It features a very young girl, at the time, Adriana Arellano (15 or 16.) Adriana has also joined them on, “You’re A Mean One Mr. Grinch,” “We’re Good,” and “Good 4 U!” Your dad gets final say on what YOU get to react to because he’s your Da!!!

Your daughter is right, geoff did make the song sound so much better than the original. That song had so much potential and there was just something about it that wasn't... Maybe sinister? Enough. So glad y'all loved this!

Many of the people in VoicePlay have worked at the big theme parks in Florida (they're based in Orlando). They've done a ton of Disney medleys and singles over the years, and even have at least one video patterned after the Haunted Mansion - so if you're a Disney fan, you've got a lot to look forward to! Kirstin Maldonado from Pentatonix is also featured in the Disney Love Medley from a cappella group Voctave, so you might want to give that one a look as well!

Voiceplay have done quite a few Disney songs if you look into them more. Moana here, Little Mermaid, Frozen, We Don't talk about Bruno, Go the Distance and a couple more I believe.

Home Free (country boys), VoicePlay (theater kids) and Pentatonix (popular kids) are generally considered the acapella trifecta of perfection by us fans. Of course this is listed in my order of preference. Everyone ranks them in different orders of who they think are the best.

Great reaction guys, love the daddy daughter vibe! They also did a Little Mermaid Medley with Rachel, and a Frozen 2 Medley with the daughter of friends. She was 15 when she did the cover with them. Also, We Don't Talk About Bruno. I would love to see you react to more Voiceplay, I subscribed in anticipation!

in addition to the ones everyone has mentioned they also have Go the Distance from Hercules, Friends on the Other Side from Princess and the Frog and, a very old Cruella Deville from 101 Dalmatians. The Nightmare Before Christmas songs they have done are This is Halloween, What's This, Kidnap the Sandy Claws, and thier epic cover of Oogie Boogie's song. They did Grim Grinning Ghosts from the Haunted Mansion ride and thier version of Hide and Seek (Ding Dong) was done in the setting and Characters of Haunted Mansion as well. While they have content in many different styles and sources they try to make everything something anyone can watch.

Welcome to ours Voiceplay rabbit hole.. i agree with all recommendations, especially little mermaid. They've done Frozen 2, which features a fantastic young singer called Arianna... We don't talk about Bruno, which features Ashley Diane is hilarious.. it's worth going through Voiceplay's discography.. there's are plenty for both adults and kids alike... Geoff, the bass, has a huge range. Layne, the beat boxer is amazing.. Eli ( bald guy) has a fantastic voice .. have subscribed in anticipation of more Voiceplay and subsequently Geoff, who has a sllo channel for his low bass covers. 😊

I read somewhere that Rachel, who is a Broadway actress, got her start singing as Ariel at Disney World, where she met some of the guys who were also singing there in their younger years. You two will love Little Mermaid, where Rachel sings as Ariel, and We Don't Talk About Bruno, which you'll notice has two different singers, new member Cesar De La Rosa as Felix, and Ashley Diane who covers Pepa, Isabela, and Mirabel. Cesar and Ashley are both Puerto Rican and get to use their natural Latino accents, so it adds a beautiful layer to the singing.

The best video that VoicePlay has done, in my opinion, is In The Hall of the Mountain King. That's taking into account the visuals, and how well they integrate with what is going on musically. If you consider only the audio, some of their other stuff (e.g., Hoist the Colours, Rich Man) might edge it out of the top slot. And you can always find fans who will claim that their most recent stuff is the best ever; right now those people will say Valhalla Calling and Nothing Else Matters, but in a couple more months the same people will change their mind and say whatever just came out then.
