Paulie and Glamour were watching Every Move. They might not care to take the Trouble to learn those FluentPet button presses; but I think they know that Todd is "Large-&-In-Charge."
@@mirjanboumasame here, and for some reason I was half expecting him to press "Mad" when his Dad said brush later. Just a few days ago I introduced "Mad" to my own boy (a two-year-old mini panther) and he sure is taking advantage of that. In our home Billi is also missed because she was our inspiration as well. Lots of love to Todd, Glamour, Paulie, Dad and to the rest of the family.❤
Love the new wider camera shot where we can see all three kittties. I noticed both Paulie and Glamour are paying attention to Todd and then turn to see what Dad will do.Even though those two don’t use the buttons, they are quite aware of the communication going on. Also fun to see Glamour liking her box so close to Todd’s buttons.
I'm beginning to think Todd is in his teenage years. Perhaps we should start addressing him as Your Majesty lol. We've always know we don't own cats, they own us.
@@TheChroniclesofToddToddTalks Forgive me for my many years of being a dog-person, but what does "days when he is more cat than others" mean? I am still new to having a cat. To be "more cat," "acting more cat than usual", 🤔 does it mean being demanding? giving orders?
He is making up missing out on brushes, pets, cuddles and belly rubs from you being gone for a week working ❤. I imagine it is very hard for you to go on your work trips with you missing home as much as everyone at home missing you. 😊
Todd’s got the priorities right… more brushing, more pets, more everything cat, because that helps you destress and lift your spirits… I mean, that chuckle and laugh, what better way of being??? Todd 💯
Todd must really enjoy those brushes. Perhaps you should install a thank you button. It may be interesting to see if Todd understands it? What do you think?
Todd look astonished that you would deny him his third "brush"..... he had the "what the heck????" look on his pretty cat face. Todd "programs" his human "dad" via pushing floor buttons. His last tail wag means.... I guess I will have to push the "brush" button, again.... because Todd will decide when you are "done". LOL Such a pretty boi.
@@TheChroniclesofToddToddTalks I think that Glamour and Paulie are seeing the benefits of language, watching Todd ask for and get what he wants. They might change their tune about the buttons as a result.
I’ve watched this video 3 times & every time I couldn’t stop laughing when Todd pressed NOW! Is he becoming a rebellious teenager? 😂😂😂 Honestly, that bossy attitude kinda reminds me of Billi 😢
@@TheChroniclesofToddToddTalks Awww~~I believe he's super sweet 🥰 the way he tilts his head to look at you while you brush him. There's soul connection there 💕
Thank you for the smile. I had to help my cat cross the rainbow bridge today, so I could use some cheering up. Seeing Todd tell you “now” made me laugh.
0:21 Todd doesn't seem to be walking with his normal "tall" walk. If he was one of my two I'd think he wasn't feeling his best and was looking for the socialization; either to distract him from a minor pain or something that might be distressing his thoughts/feelings.
@@TheChroniclesofToddToddTalks Gait: By the way he is coming down on his right foot, after 0:21, he is favoring his left front (shoulder?) and is moving like he's stiff in his hips (and back). He likely needs the word and deed "massage." Massage would be like brushing 'on steroids' in helping him with that stiffness. Are their baskets on something metal? Are they next to a wall or something powered? If away from those, that could help.
Absolutely. He still does all of he regular cat communication with meows and body language. The buttons are just an enhancement to this. I always knew before when he wanted to play but not with which toy. I knew when he wanted affection but not if it was pets, belly rubs, cuddles, kisses, etc.
This one made me laugh so hard. Todd was having a sassy day!🤣 ******* Recently I was watching your channel on my TV instead of on my phone. My cats were fascinated (especially my girl Sterling). They do occasionally watch certain animal shows and enjoy “Cat TV” that features birds and squirrels, but I’ve never seen them take much interest in watching other cats. Sterling stared intently at several Todd videos without looking away. It seems clear to me that my cats immediately recognized that Todd was communicating with Dad via the buttons and they were very impressed☺️ I recorded Sterling watching her new idol: ru-vid.comdun08zLQol4?si=SlOU5nga4xQYpDxY
I'll have to watch it tonight on my pc. I can't click the link on my phone for some reason. I actually have several people who sent pictures saying their cat watches Todd with them. Thank you!
@@TheChroniclesofToddToddTalks Yes - but (I don’t know if it’s your editing) Glamour & Paulie seem to be much more close to the ‘action’ nowadays, & really seem engaged. I think you might be in trouble if all three use buttons!
I love the shot of the 3 cats sitting equidistantly, Paulie watching over the other two from his chair. And at 1:21, Glamour knew where to go to get your attention lol, right where you were about to place Todd
I just spent thirty minutes brushing my Wendy and she still wanted more. The only time I can brush her tummy is when she is standing on all fours otherwise it’s off limits. Wendy and Glamour sound alike that sweet little meow. ❤️♥️🥰😘😻
I wonder how much Glamour and Paulie understand the words Todd says w his buttons. In this episode in particular it seems like they are actively listening to the words Todd pushes and carefully observing what Dad does after. Do you see any evidence that they are paying attention to your button interactions w Todd and/or understanding the meaning of words Todd pushes? Thanks. It made me think about how many people, myself included, can understand more of what other people say in a foreign language than we can actively speak ourselves. Interesting... 😺😸😼 (edited for clarity)
Glamour watches Todd using the buttons, and I've noticed she sometimes "accidentally" steps on one, and makes sense! lol! Joining in on the conversation?
With his long hair it might be necessary for more brushing, but a cat demanding “now” or telling you “no” when you say “later” is definitely hilarious, i get that from my sassy cat on occasion. And sometimes he goes into his trouble maker routine-jumping on the landline phone or opening kitchen cabinets or laying on as many buttons as possible…. like an unruly teenager.
Bossy with appreciative licks and kisses. Glamour strolls over to supervise and be ready in case of treats. No demands from Pauline as he enjoys the vibe of the room. 😻😻😻☮️💜
We have 3 cats, Todd, Glamour, and Paulie. Neither Glamour nor Paulie has shown any interest in learning to use the buttons. Both Glamour and Paulie will recognize when Todd pushes certain buttons for toys and come to join in. Todd is very sweet and sometimes he knows that Glamour wants to play and will go and push the Bird Toy or Laser Mouse button (the two toys Glamour likes) and just sit back and watch her and let her play without joining in. I have offered in the past and continue to offer the buttons to them but they want nothing to do with it.
Todd seems to be a cat who 1. knows what he wants, 2. has been rewarded by Dad in multiple ways, many times almost every day, for telling Dad what he wants, and 3. rarely fails to get it. Every aspect of that training encourages all of that behavior to continue. He rarely exhibits displeasure and is almost always amazingly patient when he has to wait a while. IOW, Todd is an unusually benign and forgiving cat, and Not Naughty. 🙂
Oh geez I had to laugh watching this! I guess we know who the boss is in that household! LOL. The things we do for the love of our pets! I also couldn't help but notice Paulie draped over the arm of the chair in the background, just chillin'! Nice to see all 3 cats hanging out together.
Hey, you don't know what it's like being covered in long hair. That stuff gets tangled, and Todd doesn't have the opposable thumbs to do anything about it. ;) Todd gets spa day with his beloved.
I always think glamour is gonna press a button, she always comes so close 😅 I dont know if you have seen those royalty pet photos that people put on their walls but if anyone should have one its King Todd!
