Despite the widespread myth that Let Go is somehow a “BTS is breaking up” song, it’s not. They would never do that in a Japanese song, on which NONE of the members are credited as writers. “Tear” is the song that is about their almost breaking up. Suga wrote that, and they have said they cried when they heard it. It’s pretty clear that V and JK were the most troubled, and Suga also sent the 2 of them long messages, which included telling them he loved them. It was a group decision to stay together, but it’s Suga’s passion that helped make that decision happen.
This is one of my favorite songs by them. It's so pretty and also has a bit of a heartbreaking backstory. The choreography is so good and you can tell how much V loves this choreography, he seems to really enjoy doing this routine. LOL It's amazing. You were surprised by the handiwork in this song. This is sign language for the deaf. In many dance songs, guys use sign language for people who are deaf or hard of hearing. It may be surprising, but deaf people love music, dance and sing. Vibration and rhythm are heard through the air, floor and walls. BTS members even communicate with each other off stage using gestures. As a specialist, I see this.
"Let Go"... this song has a backstory for me personally. I like that you reacted to it, but I'm a little hesitant to watch it, because it reminds me of my first listen to it. I was riding in the front seat of a hearse, about to send my late father off to the crematorium on his funeral day. On the way there, I decided to listen to this song, and it set me off crying. I was so affected by the lyrics and the song that after that first listen, I couldn't bring myself to listen to it again until 1 or 2 years later. Because every time I tried listening to it, I would cry again. It reminds me of that final ride with my late father. I know ARMYs like it for the sensual choreography, but even that couldn't make me watch or listen to it, because all it reminds me of is that sad day.
Ok 1st of all BigHit camera ppl know what ARMY want. 2nd Let Go was the 1st Japanese cut I heard & the way cry. Btwn the lyrics & the story told in the choreo broke me. It made me miss my great grandmother & instantly regret the fact I stopped speaking Japanese in 1990. Slowly working on fixing that

They have most videos with English subtitles since lyrics are the biggest part of BTS music I suggest searching for English subtitles or check enjoy bts more channel she has English subtitles to all videos on her site.

That is one of my favorite songs. Especially in their black outfit with the lace back side of the shirt. Jimin said he had to do a double take when he saw him with that shirt. I really think you would enjoy listening to in English its HipHop Lover, They also call it Hip Hop Phile, reading the lyrics then watching them do it live, I really think you would like it.
Let Go, Butterfly, and Black Swan (live) are the three OT7 choreographies that I can think of right off hand that I absolutely will stop what I'm doing and watch. They all move so well together ... beautiful performers on their own but some choreographies when they come together are just art. OMG what am I thinking ... Spring Day of course as well. Nvm I'm sure I'm missing others, if I keep typing this list will get longer and longer as my favorites! I love them all!!

This is a sad song with a slightly hopeful element to it. It's about a break up, with the singer "letting go" of the other party. It's difficult to see because of the lights going out but at the very end, after JK sings the last line, he leaves in one direction while the rest of them go in the opposite direction. The song ends talking about how the singer will wait for the other person, that they can start over and meet each other with a smile. It's basically the acceptance phase of the grieving process and, to me, it's such a beautiful expression of the feelings when you truly let go of that loved one, wishing them happiness and hoping for another chance and a happily-ever-after some day. With your history, I think the lyrics of the song would really speak to you and I hope you listen to a version with the lyrics one day. Oh, and the song is also in Japanese. They don't have a Korean version of this one.
