I got you, pops! That is an old guitar, you can have them fitted with acoustic pickups. Some go right over the large hole in front, some require a little wood work. He plays so soft sometimes, using a mic wouldn’t pickup those subtleties. Also, he sings so loud it would probably bleed into the guitar mic. Chris has the wildcat with honey voice, amazing writer. Made his way writing for others (HITS) then Timberlake set him off on his own. Sending love to yall from Nashville 🙏

I'm so glad you enjoyed listening to Chris Stapleton. He has plenty of great bluesy tunes to give a listen in future, if interested. I thought I'd suggest another one of his songs, if interested. "Chris Stapleton - Cold (CMA Awards 2012) (by the channel: Chris Stapleton) --Chris Stapleton performed at the 55th Annual CMA Awards in 2021. He sang this song I suggested "Cold" at the event. I have not heard him do a bad song yet. Ten Grammys and counting. Must-listen suggestions: Either Way/I Was Wrong/ Amanda/Fire Away/ Death Row/ Sometimes I Cry/ Fool Me Again,and Whiskey and You. BTW, Chris usually has his wife stage front as his background singer.....RIGHT WHERE SHE BELONGS! Check her out on the song Amanda, she has an angelic voice. Very much enjoyed your reaction, TY.
