Thing is,he doesn't think he is really that good at singing or playing. He in fact said he doesn't understand it all because he is just average. The ONLY spectacular musician who thinks he isn't good, and yet there are singers with only half of his talent that think they are gods gift to music.
I'm from Brazil and this music also reflects our reality. God help us, help America, Brazil and the world. Excellent video. like and subscribe to your channel.
There's a global great awakening brewing. Melie elected in Argentina, Meloni in Italy, Wilders in Netherlands.......EU farmers across the continent are in full protest......indications that there is a palpable shift to the right in France and Germany. Something's in the wind.
Oliver is from Virginia and after this song exploded he was approached by music company and offered an 8 million dollar music deal - which he turned down. He didn’t want to be ‘owned’ but anyone because he writes his songs and didn’t want to be touring all the time. He’s the real deal. Check out his song, I want to go Home please.
He was coming to my town (Knoxville, TN) to perform and the venue was charging more than he agreed to. $10 a ticket, I believe. So he canceled, refunded everyone, and rescheduled at a different venue.
1 on the Billboard Hot 100. The out-of-nowhere success made Anthony the first artist to ever launch atop the tally with no prior chart history in any form
The best part is that he's not a republican or democrat. he's an American! I am a conservative leaning independent. I laughed when the Republicans tried to latch on to that song, not realizing it was about them too. That being said... fjb, let's go brandon
If you are going to be anything in this world, be "real" first. I'm sure I can speak for many when I say this. (It brought me to tears the first time I heard this.). I believe that all Americans were crying this on the inside. He couldn't contain it any longer. This song is from the soul, not the heart.
"Wishing politicians, would look out for miners, and not just minors on an island somewhere". You were talking when he sang that powerful moment of the song. I'm sure you have realized that by now and your jaw hit the floor.
Truth. Will. Out. Sometimes, from unexpected voices. I think maybe the most interesting aspect is why are so many of us so surprised... Good react. Cheers rl 🤘👹🤘
Another independent artist with controversial lyrics would be Snowflakes by Tom Macdonald. If you like this style of vocal, you'd love anything Chris Stapleton does. My 2 favorites are Daddy doesn't Pray Anymore and Death Row.
He lives in an area that remembers the Battle of Blair Mountain. People don't appreciate that this song goes beyond politics to the money holders and those that don't. If you give them control, they'll take from you and use the powers that be to take it away from you and I, like it did to the people up on Blair Mountain. If you think it's just one side doing it, you haven't been watching.
You definition need to check out Tom Macdonald then. His music has a message that everyone needs to hear i think. It starts conversations people need to have. Check out God We Need You Now. Or No Lives Matter. Race War they are all great songs
This artist is actually pretty typical of rural Appalachia. This style and caliber of music is the heart and soul of our culture. We descend from a predominately Scot- Irish heritage with an inherent distrust of government outside our own rural communities. Our history is handed down in our songs and our stories. We tell it like it is. Even our hyperbole is more genuine than some facts. Pain is our truth and music is our drug of choice washed down with corn liquor moonshine.
Yes he needs to check out some of Tom's songs from the past 2 years. I can't say I like a lot of his earlier songs, but if you want to hear truth like this man put on the table, then you must check out Tom.
Country music has a treasure trove of mystical magical musical satisfaction. There's tons of more music like this. Check out Charlie Daniels band, check out Toby Keith, check out Hank Williams Jr I enjoyed your show.
Do you realize that "The Rich Men North of Richmond" is referring to the town of Washington D.C. politicians and lobbyist? We really need to revisit the whole concept of who is in politics, make laws that limit politicians to the same average income of the places they are "suppose to represent" and when a politician leaves office then the "benefits of office" should end just like any other job. But hey if politicians actually had to serve the public interest there would be few who would want to go do a thankless job.
