I saw this twice now, my favorite part of this video was your Father paying attention to Rainbow because that song meant a lot to you at that time in your life and I just bursted into tears first time I saw this reaction, me growing up without a dad - I was kind of envious in that moment and I said to myself: "damn, I wish I have a dad like that". This reaction video is just the best!
54:42 that was just the sweetest thing in the world to me, i love these videos and the bond you guys have also i loved this review/first listen of golden hour. it's my favorite album of all time and you guys discuss all the things i love about it perfectly. thanks for making these videos i feel like im reliving my first listen of all my favorites through you guys and it's really sweet to see your bond and sharing thoughts on all these beautiful records!!
I love how your dad didn’t speak during Rainbow because he knew how much it meant to you. This album also came out during a rough time in my life and an ex told me that song reminded him of me and it meant so much. I immediately bought the vinyl for my dad for his next birthday and we bonded over it for the next following years.
Beautiful reaction once again! This brings me back to my sophomore year in high school and this album got me through so much... So glad you guys reacted to this (: If you haven't listened to folklore by Taylor swift I think that album would be a good reaction as well, a lot of imagery and amazing writing.
I’m so late watching this, but you’ve described each song so well. Hoping you can react to her next album, Star-Crossed and her upcoming album Deeper Well 🌟
Kacey is a queen!! If you haven’t listened to her debut album “same trailer different park” y’all should give that a listen! Kacey is the definition of country/with a modern twist of pop. The male artists in country are what ruin country music in general. The females on the other hand have things to say! Give Maren Morris - HERO (album) give her a listen. She’s a mix of country/R&B also give Kassi Ashton - Dates In Pickup trucks a listen you’ll thank me!💯👏🏼 there’s so many female artists in country that are killing it! Don’t let people tell you it’s all about beer, trucks etc cause it’s not! Listen to YOLA’s sophomore album “stand for myself” that is another album that will give you chills! It’s a mix of country/R&B & soul, I’d even say a bit of rock!
Beautiful album. I’d love a reaction to a Fiona Apple album, particularly Fetch The Bolt Cutters or The Idler Wheel. Two of the most distinct and acclaimed albums of the last ten years.
I loved this album so much. U guys should listen to her "Star-crossed" album. Is like a continuation of this album. It's about when she getting divorced. It's a such pretty album. Sad, but pretty!
Absolutely, would highly recommend Star-crossed after seeing how much you both loved Golden Hour. Totally different vibe, more anger along with the sadness.. but gorgeous production like this album
She is from Nashville, you can hear the country inspiration. But that she was also inspired by folk, pop and some rock. Making something unique. I love it 🙂
Thank you M & M. One of my favorite albums. Interesting to hear her current album she wrote as this broke up. Both are beautiful to hear. Loved your Dad listening closely to a song important to you. PS- I don't listnen to rap or hiphop tho I know Kendrick Lamar is a talented writer...
Try checking out our rap reviews from the beginning! Maybe you’ll feel similar to my dad. Either way thanks for tuning in, glad we got to some albums you love so far ✌🏻
I love this album. And Taylor Swift as well. And I wish you could try and listen to Alisson Krauss and Gregory Alan Isakov's discography. That would means a lot.
I've listened to this album during a pretty big change in my life, so it really affected me a lot (in a positive way), but now with Deeper Well I realized that Kacey is just great at these "simple" life lesson songs ya know. They're nothing goundbreaking, but it's nice to hear someone just say that "everything will be alright" or talk about slowing down or respecting yourself. Sometime we just forget about the simple things and it's nice to be reminded, especially with a banger album like this
I’ve seen a lot of reactions to Golden Hours but not a lot admire Oh, What A World as it should’ve been. Perfectly discussed & extracted. Its transcendental. Synth in country music? Groundbreaking.
I remember listening to rainbow for the first time. I had my headphones on, and it was dark and late. I just started balling my eyes out, I felt so seen.
