It kind of fascinates me how people receive rap. Especially when it isn't their background. The sign of good music is that it gives almost everyone something to enjoy. Pops caught NO bars, but he'll break down the music though 😂😂😂

Something to note for ya pops: A singer's defining tool is their voice, a rapper's defining tool is their mind. A rapper's vocal's, delivery, and cadence matter too, but none of that matter's till they have the words. A singer can sing fa-da-la-la-la and convince you of their talent, but a rapper spitting Gucci Gang for 4 mins will get no respect.

naah vocals, good beat selection and delivery are the most important as a whole artist, it don’t matter if u ain’t saying a lot, as long as u make it sound pleasant and good it can work, but if someone is spitting some good shit but with a mid voice or a bad production it will not be enough, just my opinion tho

Except lyrical rappers and trap rappers both have their place and time. No one wants to hear Rap God by Eminem or anything by Joyner Lucas when the top is down on a Friday night and everyone’s having a good time. People want ignorant shit at times, that’s why it sells.

Funny story about this album is pusha had one ready to go. And at the last min Kanye said let’s scrap it. I wanna do a seven song album no fluff just beats and bars. And it worked out. Lol. BTW drake can rap his ass off be soft as hell. Lol. He not lifting a finger. But he does have connections wit people that look out for him, J Prince mainly. Prince saved him from Kanye and meek mill. Puff smacked drake and he didn’t do a thing. And it’s a story that one of TI homies actually peed on drake. He not a street dude at all.
