One of the most consistent artists ever, nobody else has been around for as long as he has in such a niche genre like cocaine rap and only done that style and not only stayed relevant for 20 years but keeps getting more recognition, more fans and improving his craft, it is amazing to see
It's because of HOW he writes his songs, he always finds a fresh way to deliver his bars. Sometimes you won't even catch some of them until your third or so listen. That (and the production) is why he has more replay value than almost any other coke rapper out there.
my dad passed away back in february after being laced with fentanyl. we had a friendship like yall and shared a mutual love for music. he raised me on wutang, bone thugs, cypress hill, big L. and once I got older and had my own music taste id love to show him the music I fucked with. i had him on kanye, danny brown, freddie gibbs, carti, all them mfs. whenever a new album would come out we'd listen together and just react the way yall do. watching these videos is like therapy man, you have no idea. thank you for what you and ur father do fr .
I'd love to see a Freddie Gibbs reaction. Piñata, Bandana, and Alredo are all clasics and I'm sure your dad would love them especially since he loved the samples on Daytona.
Santeria, imo, is one of the best hip hop songs ever. The layered entendres, the drake and young money diss, interwoven with the story behind his friend dying. Then that crazy chorus. It’s perfection.
070 Shake’s haunting chorus in Spanish, love that girl Also connects with Hard Piano, 070 is Dominican, and that’s where the kings go, down in Santo Domingo 😅 Santeria, best song I heard that year
2018-era Kanye was cracked. There are no wasted bars, the instrumentals feel like they were produced around Pusha T, and not the other way around. The flows are impeccable, his delivery is top of the game, the wordplay is ridiculous. Kanye's perfect instrumentals are just the cherry on top.
This videos are my therapy, I´m in some difficult times and these videos make me relisten the music I love like the first time again. Waiting for the freddie gibbs reaction, love from Spain🇪🇸🇨🇦
I remember Pusha explaining the Nas album production, he said some rappers just record their raps and leave the rest to producer, but he was on Kanye to make sure it was perfection, and that it was
There isn’t a big transition between every song but the way each song hard cuts to the next one is like you’re getting dragged further into darker parts of Pusha T’s psyche song by song until we reach absolute hell on Infrared, a perfect album, and you guys got to do some Freddie Gibbs reactions and the rest of The Weeknd Trilogy soon, keep up the good work guys 🙏🏿
@@turningthetables honestly this album is at least an 8, if not a 9 for me. Besides What would Meek do i love all these songs and i couldnt point to a weakness.
Got to see Pusha T live last year, one of the best concerts I've ever been to. He is an amazing performer, never experienced that kind of energy in person!
Every song on this is crazy catchy too. Push in short form is glorious I mean that with all respect. He respects our time and no room for filler tracks
It should be truly appreciated that this is one of the most genuine channels on RU-vid with a primarily positive fan base. The amount of success you have achieved in short time is not a coincidence. Great video, can’t wait to see what’s next!
Kevin saying Ye instead of Kanye shows how much of true fan he really is lol. A man of culture. Anyway Pusha T & Ye are an unmatched duo, hope y'all react to Pusha's latest project too, and to see how y'all feel about Ye's vs Pharrell's production on there.
The games we play got like 10 plays in a row when I first heard it. That is a song I would play if someone never heard of pusha t and I wanted them to get the gist
Those shivers from Santeria will follow your throughout 070 Shakes album. You guys are holding back on showing Kevin a Rodeo level album for him to love
I think the reason I love pusha so much is cz of how I don't hv an idea of most things he raps abt. Like he has a certain mystique abt him, that is so special.
I discovered your channel a few weeks ago, and I swear you guys have been therapy for me. Seeing the emotional intelligence of your father, seeing his clear love for you and a desire to learn and understand you more, shows me the kind of father that I want to be. I know you guys primarily do hip hop, but if Kevin isn’t familiar with The Mars Volta, that would be an AMAZING artist deep dive!
This is one of my favorite albums of all time. It’s so addictive and it never gets boring. The length is on such a sweet spot and Kanye’s production fit push so fucking well. I love this album
I can't believe you didn't tell your dad about the album cover being Whitney Houston's drug infested bathroom, since she's Kevin's favourite singer if I remember correctly.
i get home and instantly get the notification turning the tables are reacting to the best album out of the wyoming sessions, you already know i’m watching.
I love the dynamic between you guys - an episode randomly came on late in the a.m. and I've been hooked on this channel for a minute now. Honestly though the really cool thing for me, is gaining the exposure and catalog recognition in a fast and entertaining manner to many classic and unique artists I've never given a chance to listen to! Thanks and keep doing what you're doing! ❤️from Vermont
Daytona is a goated album. You guys should really do hell hath no fury by clipse too. Pusha, malice, Pharrell and Chad make one of the best hip hop albums ever on that one. I go back and forth between if I like Daytona or hhnf better tbh
I really love this channel i doubt this will be seen but I highly suggest Cage The Elephant. Any of their albums would be an amazing watch and i really think your dad will love it
