This album shows how versatile X was and I think so many people oversee that. From the melodic rapping, to the singing, to the boom bap with Joey, to a spanish banger. X was for real taken too soon, he had so much potential
Every time I hear X, I cry. Especially knowing his story and how much pain he went through. Even in his childhood pictures you can see the sadness in his eyes. I love how well he captures so many emotions throughout his music.
Love the reactions, y’all will be up there with the top reactors if you keep grinding! I love this album but I think 17 is my favorite X album y’all gotta react to that next. I know that album was a big part of a lot of younger peoples lives
Me and X were only a few months apart in age his death really hit me hard. This was my first time being able to listen to much of his music since his death, glad you put your dad onto X
Gotta say, I just fckn LOVE your dad man... ❤️ Don't know anything about your life, or whatever you've experienced in regards to father/son relations this far, all I can say is the love and energy the two of you are providing via these reactions brings me hope, and puts a smile on my face, while nearly bringing me to tears sometimes. Guess I'm soft like that! LOL Much 💙 to both of you. 💙
Great to see how diverse the albums are that you react to, you kind of started with the hiphop classics and now you also react to "new" music. I love that because my music taste is always mixed between oldschool and newschool rap/HipHop
Growing up in New York I heard plenty of stories of people that kept the blade under their tongue, it was mainly a jail thing to hide it from guards and such, but also was popular in the hoods
The origin of his name is X is often used as the unknown variable and tentacion is temptation in Spanish so it’s Unknown Temptation. (If I remember correctly that’s how he explained it)
His voice was an instrument. so talented, sucks he’s gone now. y’all should listen to “17” arguably better than this album. He wasn’t a great dude in the fact of his illegal stuff, but he was a musical genius.
X was someone who made songs for the broken people, he helped a lot of people and wanted to turn his life around and tried spreading positivity but he couldn't bc people would just call him a girl beater and then the tragedy happened rip x 🙏🏼💯🕊
@@alec57 there's my example 💀lmao that's the only thing u can say, but yet u didn't donate money to people you didn't make music u didn't do anything to help people right?
@@ilyUrixz So if I put hands on my girlfriend and then apologize with some donated money attached to a charity, as well as say I'm changed or changing, and it's all ok and forgotten then? Like seriously, some of you people who defend this dude are delusional as all hell. Sitting here defending this scumbag simply because you connected to his music, which actually was pretty terrible anyways. Once a homophobic woman beater, always a homophobic woman beater. That simple. Imagine saying Hitler was an OK guy because he found out what he did was wrong and changed himself? 🤣 Give me a break. You sound so gullible. He only tried to get people to think he changed himself because he got heavily into the public eye and under massive public scrutiny. Hard to have a career if you continue to mentally and physically abuse your spouses. Of course he had to put on the illusion of change, he was forced to if he wanted a successful career.
This was awesome I love BRIDGING THE GAP My wife loves this show too. Rip 🙅🏾♂️🙅🏾♂️🙅🏾♂️ I will always play your music His music genuinely impacted my life
Wondering if y’all would ever react to some of Saba’s projects. CARE FOR ME is a modern classic and Few Good Things touches on some really good topics. Love the content
I’ve always said this. If x was still alive he would easily be top 3 of this new generation without competition. He was too versatile, too relatable, too talented. He was the whole package that unfortunately this newer generation won’t get to experience. Rip x. Shoutout to all the other artist including pop and juice but talent wise they would never reach x. This world is messed up and he was one few artists that made me really appreciate substance in music. Rip x
man, love from Brasil, i´m a big X fan, and you both did it right, your father is amazing, you can see that he has a knowledge and a great story, but above that he is open minded to the new, bro this is gorgeous (sorry for the bad english)
Funny thing about schizophrenia is I also hear him saying “fuck him up” alongside “don't give up” I'm not sure if that was intentional. Also with the song love yourself what I gathered from that is he's telling the girl his talking to or maybe thinking to himself “take no chances fuck that nigga” he's referring to himself because he thinks poorly of himself and he feels he will only bring her pain type shit
You mess with Jpegmafia?? Would be wild to see your dad react to the album Veteran. I feel like after X and the other artist you've shown your dad he'd have an open mind for Peggy.
to answer your question about his name, he spoke about it in an interview. xxx means unknown and tentacion means temptation in english so "unknown temptations"
He wanted to be open with his feeling to help the fan deal with their own. On the intro of 17 he says that in help to cure or atleast numb depression. You hit the mail on the head when y said that why people loved him
you gots to do juice legends never die now . want to see your pops opinion on how juice handled his problems with the drugs n things like that . Or let him listen to wishing well
Make sure your dad knows that X’s albums 17 and ? both kept me going and saved my life when I was very down bad. No one else’s music makes me feel the way his does.
I love that we're listening to this next!! I don't know if you take listening suggestions but I would love to see pops react to some Mac Miller, specifically the album Swimming. I think he would really enjoy that project.
Fun fact. X is a huge name in da rap industry so the more you guys react to him the more viewers you’ll get. So many rappers had already called him the “Tupac” of this generation
Hey Have you planned to IGOR? i mean it has one of the most soothing and complex instrumentation and production and your dad will love it being a 65 year old for real
Scary that Xs last song on hid last album was about death but spacifically if God would still exept him after all his mistakes. I still think he might have known hevwas gonna die soon just didnt know when exactly but he knew it was soon. Just probably sooner then he thought. FLOOR 555 My favorite btw, but Before I close my eyes, Hope, & 888 are right there equally next to it. P.S. Kendrick loved Xs music a song with X & Kendrick and maybe Joey too wouldve been legendary.
I'm new here lol...it took me a lot of minutes to actually figure out what that painting says.like I figured it out when I was halfway through the vid lol Anyways,I like it!
When you do 1999 make sure you do the original version of Funky Ho$ ! The re-released version doesn’t have the sample and it takes away from the song majorly
the origins of Xs name is xxx is just for porn and tentacion means temptations in a different language i forgot what language but this is what he said in an interview
Man you have to check out Infinite 1996 by EMINEM. It was his 1st (debut) album. Different than any eminem album you ever heard. Classic album please react to it.
