This playset is as fun as they get. We bought it just before Christmas and It took us until after Christmas to put it all together.
We worked on it a few hours a day every couple of days. The longest we spent working on it in one day was about 4 hours.
We ordered it from Sam's Club. It arrived in a big box truck on a pallet. 8 pretty big boxes.
When first putting it together it was a little flimsy feeling. But after all the pieces were together it turned out very sturdy.

If I remember correctly there were 8 boxes. Some were long, about the length of two pallets.

@@dadandlittledudeplay3250 Santa is almost done with construction. Quick question- do you remember having a fairly decent amount of extra hardware the end? I feel like I could build another fort with the extra screws and bolts left ha! Thanks in advance and Merry Christmas

@@kell733 Good for Santa. Yes I remember having hardware leftover. Mostly nuts and bolts and screws. And they seemed like stuff we didn't use a lot of.

First time viewer, How old are your kids? My oldest is 5yrs old curious if your kid is near that age and if you think they'll enjoy it for awhile

Theres a similar Playset on Kidcraft website that has a tire swing underneath a tunnel but obviously, that tunnel is a bit longer than this Playset in this video. Please let me know what you think…I want this Playset but I really like the additional swing the other Playset has

Hi there. The tunnel is very sturdy so I don’t think that would be a problem. Sometimes if you get a couple of big kids really swinging hard… things start to tweak and creak.

We just got ours in today. I’m hoping it will accommodate my 7 year old. It’s advertised for up to 10 but I read some reviews on Sams saying it was small at the bottom for anyone over 5. Do you find that to be accurate. Thx for the vid. Some people also said it wasn’t sturdy so glad to hear you think it is.

I think he has to duck down a little to go in the door way. But inside is much taller. We also have kids in the neighborhood who are 11 and 12 who come and play. The only thing is... when there is a big kid really going hard on the swings things start to twist and shimmy. So I only let the smaller kids swing. I have gone through and re-tightened all the nuts and bolts. When we put it together we were probably too cautious and didn't really crank everything down that hard. But it is a fun play house. We have had it one year and it gets a lot of use and is still in great shape.

Regarding the tunnel, did the nodules in the panels actually go through the connector holes? I'm having trouble with that step

The two playhouses under with the kitchens are only 45” tall? My 4 year old is 44” that doesn’t give much time/clearance for her to be able to stand

Is anyone aware of the total base dimensions once constructed? Including the tails off the base of the towers. I need to set mine into the ground one inch and I cannot find the measurements in the instructions

@@dadandlittledudeplay3250 I'm seriously thinking about getting a KidKraft as well. Obviously it's a large purchase. Do you see it lasting another 3 or 4 years? Is the wood holding up well and is it something you recommend staining every other year? Just interested in how you feel about it 2 years later before I pull the trigger!

How did you find the texture of the wood? I was surprised at how incredibly rough the set is and am wondering if this is a KidKraft issue or outdoor playsets in general. I also bought a KidKraft playhouse and it's the same deal. Splintering wood and scratches on my skin as I put it together.. Wondering how much of an issue this will be when my kids start playing.

On ours the exposed spots are smooth. Haven't had any issues with splinters and the kids have spent about 100 hours playing on it.
