I have ordered a new Corvette and it has been several months since ordering. This looks like a GREAT RIDE. This video makes me envious of the Corvette owner and I cannot wait till my ordered Corvette comes in. Watching this makes the dream more realistic. I am in my 70's, but I think getting the car of my dreams is worth it and I am not crazy.
Congrats Dad, I'm sure you earned it..:) I did it with my wife in '08 and plan on doing it again with my Grandson next year! Great job family, what a wonderful surprise for your Dad!!!
Was hoping to see you load her into the trailer. Please respond with the size of your trailer to include the inside dimensions, for I wish to do the same with mine. Many thanks...
Jeremy, what a great moment to share with your Dad and Sister. The color combo almost matches my C8 coupe except I went with the full Sky cool gray interior 3LT to even more pickup the silver stripes and had the engine cover painted red mist, white and silver pockets. That is a Great combo for your Dad!
Was nice to see you and your sister with your Dad picking up his new C8 Corvette at the Bowling Green Corvette Museum, I was one of the people at the museum the day you picked up your New C8 Corvette and enjoyed the experience right along with you that day, my name is Michael Bodine I was in town visiting family and was lucky enough to be in the right spot at the right time to enjoy your happy moment God Bless you and your family, and hope to meet you again in Bowling Green
Thanks for the great video. Now I know what it's like. Thinking about doing it. Love the photo of your Dad touching the car with the "don't touch" sign next to it Lol.
That is kick ass Jeremy for your dad and yourself ! I saw when you took delivery of your C8 and how special that was and now your back with your dad !!!!! Kick ass !!!!
Does the dealer really charge a destination charge on top of the museum delivery option? The “destination” is literally across the street. Seems a bit silly.
I didn't realize there was a charge for delivery at the Museum but If I can ever swing a new one that will be the place to get delivery for sure...Lots of luck with your new wheels...
Well done to all involved in this amazing purchase and the journey to make a memory for your Dad that will be with him 'til the end of days.👍👍 Save the Wave 🙋♂ and may your Dad have many, many years of doing The Wave🙋♂
Outstanding car and story! I am getting ready to order a new 2024 very similar to your dad's. Would you be able to share Mike's number so I can see if we can make the order?
I got my C8 in late Sept 2021. I was in the #2 spot, and Stacey was my C8 rep also. Just curious, why was it in the #2 spot when you went in, and the #7 spot when you left?
I do not, but I recommend calling him and checking. Deposits are only held for your place in line and only cashed or credit card charged once your order is ready to actually be accepted by GM.
Wonderful, thanks for sharing your family and the family experience at the Corvette Museum. You captured the excitement and enjoyment of your dad. Congratulations.
Absolutely wonderful you and your sister got to share the moment with you dad. Beautiful car/color combination. I wish I could have shared my C8 delivery with my dad but he passed a few months while waiting for my car. Enjoy your beautiful ride.
Thank you for shooting this video! I have ordered pretty much the same exact car with the stripe and 2 tone interior. I actually just happened to see you guys on the webcam at the museum a couple of weeks ago. I've been trying to find a good video of a similar car to what I ordered. So again, THANK YOU!
What family fun and what a great looking car. Well picked George. And great pick of Mike Furman@Criswell as your salesperson/dealership. Thanks Jeremy for a wonderful video!
Thanks for sharing the video, but I like how you edited out your dad getting out of the car each time. Chevrolet was facing challenges growing sales because the Corvette was the old man's dream car but they weren't buying them because they are so hard to get out of once you are over 55. So they dreamed up the mid-engine design to get the younger affluent buyer interested.
Im very ... VERY DISAPPOINTED... FOR GOOD REASON... SO YOU WAIT HOW LONG FOR THIS CAR... THEN PAY OVER 100 GRAND.. IM ASSUMING FOR YOUR SPEC... THEN YOU ARRIVE TO HAVE THIS AMAZING EXPERIENCE.. THEN EITHER YOU LET" A STRANGER DRIVE IT OUT OF THE MUSEUM???????? THAT WAS ALL FOR YOU...... AT THAT POINT THIS IS YOUR CAR. AND YOU LET SOME GREASY STRANGER TAKE ONE OF YOUR MOST MEMORIBABLE EXPERIENCES ON THIS PLANET AWAY FROM YOU??? AND SHAME ON GM FOR LETTING THIS TAKE PLACE.. FROM NOW ON WHEN A PERSON INVESTS 100 THOUSAND DOLLARS FOR A VEHICLE... YOU "MUST" DRIVE IT OUT OF THE MUSEUM.... SLOWYLY... AND ABORB YOUR NEW LIFES VEHICLE EXPERIENCE.... NO WAY.. WHEN I GET MINE. IM DRIVING IT THE SECOND ITS MINE.. IN FACT I DONT NEED A COURSE ON THE FEATURES. I ALREADY KNOW. JUST GIMME MY CAR AND GET OUT OF MY WAY, THERE IS A STREET I NEED TO BE ON. END OF STORY.
